My Review
This is first time I see this movie in years and now I am going to review it and see if it holds up here in the future last time I see was on Disney years ago used to watch it a lot on there.
This movie is magic of 80’s the soundtrack is so good as well story is about new family moving house after there father dies one of movies trying to make it said but there also some comedy Fred savage is in as well very young as well in opening moments you can see him ride a bike trying to get around block but a bunch of bullies stop him one of bullies Is from neverending end story and he stop him from passing so funny they chase Louis all the way home keep a eye out on that later it will play out in good way.
Then later we meet Eric a deaf boy who does not like to be around people much Milly try to talk to him it work some at first but he still shy this where story takes off good slow build there that how good story’s go for writing in movies as movie goes on teases happen with Eric trying to fly as well this high points of movie as well I like how it you can see how story goes for milly and Eric does go you can see she she slowly starts to like him she also try to help him but nothing changes yet at first but later on you see Eric start to trust her more he catches a ball that was close to hitting her.
Later on she try to prove in front of everyone that he can catch a ball but for some reason he does not still shy look like but in a silly move she ask girl to hit her in the face with ball which didn’t go too well can of dumb move.
Then about later on as well she try to grab a flower that up high ends up hitting her head and falling and ends up in hospital then we get moment we been waiting he can fly that was cool moment with fireworks and they kiss in the sky was pretty cool with fireworks ibehind them but then writers try to throw us a bone that this could of been a dream as she woke up in hospital bed but as she got home the flower she try to get before falling was there but Eric was taking away so she try to visit him but was only family members can see him so that was tough moment.
There was another tough moment after Eric try to get pass bullies he failed after that something bad happen to his dog that wasn’t easy to watch either very sad moment there then during the storm she see Eric on top goes there and he was there how did get there not sure but she stay the night but bad news is cops and hospital are looking for him but then a big moment Eric fly in front of everybody it was great moment with great soundtrack the look on people face was priceless as well after he fly after that he said goodbye was a sad moment there.
Then we see Louis win the battle with some good tricks there and his dog was ok so I was wonder at end here will Eric show up sadly I was disappointed there could of told us more on where Eric went guess he didn’t want to come back a ok ended but I am sure many like me felt letdown there at that end.
So what a movie this was great acting Lucy and Jay both it was good and Fred did good as well had some music as well for soundtrack when he fly so is this still the movie I liked as a kid back in days yes but again have not see this movie in years so I forgot how it ended that why I said I hope Eric returns did not happen maybe somewhere there another ended with a happy ending not sure guess writers wanted to have us think in our minds after this does he return after it ended or not they never did a 2nd movie should of think it would of been great movie anyway will say a great movie this was for teen movie of 80’s it did have some comedy with Fred trying to get around block many many times that about it in my view for comedy anyway this is safe family movie to watch for all too if you see it hope you like it as much as I did.
