Dumbo (1941) Movie Review

 A Review of Dumbo (1941)

Starring....... Herman Bing/ voiceover, Mel Blanc /voiceover and Billy Bletchet

Synopsis

Ridiculed because of his enormous ears, a young circus elephant is assisted by a mouse to achieve his full potential.

Warning spoilers Ahead

My Review......

This one has been part of childhood cartoon since I kid I remember see this for first time back in 80’s and love it a lot it was a cute movie about elephant with big ears who is being bullying bye others only friend he has who he meets later on is a little mouse isn’t that something and friendship takes right off they go though a lot it was sort of odd and cute friendship it was from start to the end of movie the mouse does indeed help him a lot though the bad and pretty good writing there something you won’t see in real life though.

Dumbo does have some bad luck though the movie so bad everybody turn on him so they made him joke of him making him a clown this movie does have a lot of bullying just make sod to see what elephant goes though but that part of story as well now is this musical movie think so seem like a lot of musical scenes in this one from what I see this indeed a good family movie for that just for everybody right now my favorite one is pink elephants scene think mouse and dumbo had too much to drink after wine fall in water Bucket so then things went crazy with pink elephants in sky but they put on one heck of show and I like how when it was over pink elephants just turn to Clouds in the sky that some good writing there.

So how was this movie going to end it was not long long movie so there not much of 1st half or 2nd half but for pretty much a hour and 4 mins movie they did get everything in this and it turn out great some sad moments but this was great cartoon movie with happy ending as well.

Hats off to everybody in this voiceovers were great and it was fun to watch this movie again this is indeed a must see family movie if you have not see it yet I am sure you will like it as much as I do still and at end you find out the true meaning of movie as well.

I give this Movie Dumbo (1941) out of 10/10 rating a 8/10 because it was great.

Star Wars : Episode VI- Return of the Jedi (1983) Movie Review

A Review of Star Wars : Episode VI- Return of the Jedi

Starring...... Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher

Director....... Richard Marquand

Synopsis

After a daring mission to rescue Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt, the Rebels dispatch to Endor to destroy the second Death Star. Meanwhile, Luke struggles to help Darth Vader back from the dark side without falling into the Emperor’s trap

Warning possible Spoilers

My review.........,

Well this is final movie of 3 best movies I see and what a way to end it with this greatness of this movie start off from 2nd movie where Han Solo is remind freeze at jabba hutt place so it up to his friends to save him and that how movie started they first send the robots that didn’t work out then someone in mask did free him turn out it was princess but she was catch and Punished to put on a very sexy outfit which I did not mind sure other guys did as well Anyway was very close calls but it was great way to start with them taking on jabba ugly Creatures which look creepy they did look good making them look odd anyway good start.

After that Luke heads back to finish his training but yoga was too weak and pass away he did say only way to complete the training you have to Vader again Luke doesn’t want too because he trying to save him like bring back the good side but they think it was too late so yoga dies or just Disappear then after that we find out another he has a sister guess who yes it was princess well guess we can say that was another shocking of series and again change the story some.

Luke does tell her later on the truth then turn himself in so he can try to change Vader back to the good side he does try at start but does not work so Vader takes him to his dark master to finish his training to join him on darkside and as we get close to the end is when movie some of best action I see edge of seat this is it finale battle between good and evil must say it was a great one last battle there and then we see if Luke turn to dark side he did face Vader one last time but he has be careful not to turn to dark side bye killing his father so he does not but this makes dark master mad and he start attacks Luke this guy is very powerful.

Then I cheer like many others I bet when Vader save Luke it was best moment in movie history but it was little too late as his pass away but before he got to see his son when last time which me happy it was sad ending after that we see the big Celebration then movie ends with 3 people Important in Luke life appear again a great way to end the movie series that is indeed forever a classic series to me but there were lot more movies after this just never got into them though maybe down the line I will review them who knows in closing this was a fun movie series and May the force be with everybody.

I give this movie out of 10/10 a 9 out 10 for amazing

Star Wars : Episode V - The empire Strikes Back (1980) Movie review

A review of Star Wars: Episode V- The Empire Strikes back (1980)

Starring....... Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher

Director....... Irvin Kershner

Synopsis

After the Rebels are brutally overpowered by the empire on ice planet Hoth Luke Skywalker begins with Yoda, while his friends are pursued by Darth Vader and Bounty hunter Boba Fett all over the Galaxy.

Warning Possible spoilers

My Review............

This is the 2nd movie of Star Wars must say this another one that is a classic movie to me it came out when I was about 2 or 3 years old in this one it does lead off from first movie between battle and good Luke vs Vader also like opening of movie which is again very good story telling of the movie at start then from there this one just takes off with good edge of seat moments at start of movie my favorite parts of movie is when he went to see yoga training was good unit he found out his friends are in danger must go help them but yoga said if he goes this is what Vader but pretty much he wanting to save them which was good move.

The last battle of this movie with Luke vs Vader brings out one heck of secret I am going to let cat out of bag because I want to tell you what my reaction was my guess like many back then wow I am sure theater reaction would of been something any way it was one heck of truth about Luke father not dead and who it was that indeed was something and mark acting as Luke pretty much look real I am sure yours would be the same indeed that was huge for series and changes everything,

Well this one was a good one another one of my favorite Star Wars movie the 2nd movie does bring a lot to story training and secret May of been big one of movie also cliffhanger for Han Solo my guess they did to give fans to turn in the next movie to find out what happen or maybe they were not sure if Harrison Ford was not returning that was not true so not a bad move to go in my view will gives me to story on where it goes in the next one this got me Excited for the next one when I first see it not a bad move as for ending it was great way to end movie and lead off to next one from start to end this was another great movie of the series.

My final rating out of 10/10 is 9/10 for once again classic movie.

Star Wars (1977) Movie Review

A review of Star Wars (1977)

Starring...... Mark Hamill , Harrison Ford and Carrie fisher

Director.... George Lucas

Synopsis:

Luke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky Pilot, a Wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the empire’s world- destroying battle station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the mysterious Darth Vader.

Warning Possible spoilers

My Review........

This too me is one of best and classic movie that I see I remember see it for the first time as a kid in the 80’s yes that when I see because it came out in 1977 and was not even born yet but when I first see it I fall in love with great story and movie because of the way it was told to us with story and characters as well also this start off as one best movies series of all time as well.

So why is this movie a classic well you have amazing intro with music and words scroll down the screen already telling you some of story at start of movie that way I would start this great movie from there it pretty much takes off with our first look at Princess Leia played by the great Carrie fisher so she gets Kidnapped by the best Villain of the series in my view Darth Vader who is badass by the way.

From there we meet some more great characters and main one Luke Skywalker who pretty much the main character of story and series pretty much this first movie has everything that I see from start to the end with a great ending leading to 2nd movie of the series.

My final rating out of 10/10 is 9/10 because this movie is a classic one.

Rick Moranis as Louis Tully
Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz

Movie Review
Well this movie takes place 5 years later after first movie now 5 years later story goes where Dana has a son and well Ghostbusters are out of Business I like how the movie open with pink slime being run over by The baby carriage and then rolls down the street cause Dana to go after that pretty great way to start the movie with that and logo of Ghostbusters II here we go after that movie was good and this time in a odd way the main villain is in a painting and he wants to come back and destroy the world or take over the world very strange way I thought this was kind of weird but also good in my view it wasn’t too big of a villain from the first movie but still thought he was creepy some people don’t like this movie because it was not good I know it was not as great as first one but it was still good to me from start to the end with lots good spots on the movie let go over that.

Ghostbusters haters
In the first half after what happen in the first movie everybody hating them this was good to add to will they ever trust them again and it did later on.

Odd love couple
I thought it was can of odd and well silly that Janine and Louis fall in love which I find can of odd and weird but they did not go overboard too much with it guess you can say she over Egon.

Pink slime thoughts
Love the whole pink slime idea when it came out of Dana bathtub was scary looking but for some reason the pink slime remind of the blob movie but they did a great job adding the slime to movie and making it look great.

Funny still or not
Well not as too funny as first movie but some of jokes still has me laughing in this one though still funny.

Final thoughts
There still lots of good spots then bad with Dana and Peter falling in love again though the movie and the ending battle between the Ghostbusters vs the main villain but the whole bad trying to take over baby soul was creepy in view again not best Ghostbusters movie out of 2 but still happy I got the original cast to come back and do this one because there did fantastic in this one and also do I hope the pink slime returns in Ghostbusters three maybe but I don’t know in closing can’t wait to see Ghostbusters III next year.

Movie review
I watched this many times before review this again to see what I think have to say this is one of best movies I see everything clicks in this great plot, comedy as well nice setup to main villain at the end of movie you get many Easter eggs and hints though the movie leading up to main Villain at the end which was Awesome every time I see it also this movie has great effects and is a hilarious movie and even for a little bit of romance or so in it between will get to that later anyway the story was great it was written by Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd which was great my hats off to both they create one of best movies I ever see from start to the end now let’s go over the good stuff and some other things that makes this movie great.

Scary or no
Library ghost scared me as a kid but in a good way it help me out not to fear much many horror movies to come  also terror dogs was the most ugly dogs I see but they are a big part of how this movie is great as well few scary spots but nothing too scary.

Why getting Kicked out of the University helped the Ghostbusters.
In the first 10 mins they got kicked out University leading up to better stuff they started there Own business in the firehouse which lead to bigger things.

A little touch of Romance
There was a little bit between Peter and Dana but not much as she did not like him as he liked her it was funny and worked great in movie and making you think if them two would end up with each other at the end just another great reason why this movie is great.

A top singer made her film debut in Ghostbusters
Bet you did not know this singer Debbie Gibson made her film debut with the girl having a birthday party when terror dog scares Louis At the  tavern on the green you can see turn  her head and look yep that her years later she went on to be a great singer what a great debut huh.

Facts
They try to get Pee Wee as main villain at the end but he did not sign would of been odd John Candy was idea for Louis but he did not sign so they went with Rick Moranis which was gold he was funny.
Slimer idea was the ghost of John Belushi from Dan Aykroyd a  a ghost who liked to eat and make a mess work out great huh.
There so many facts in this don’t have time to name all go here to this web site link for more fun facts https://www.buzzfeed.com/spenceralthouse/24-fun-facts-about-the-movie-ghostbusters

Best quotes
So many quotes in this one but bill Murray throw a lot of great ones like this man has no dick, cats and dogs living Together and one where he said I go to Dana and check her out that some of best there egon throw out a great one too when ask what your Hobbies he goes I collect spores molds and Fungus and And Twinkie part was funny too so many great jokes and quotes in this one too laugh at very funny movie also Bill murray Jokes was funny as well.

Acting
Some of best lineup is in this movie from. Dan Aykroyd, Rick Moranis, Annie Potts, Harold Ramis and the great Sigourney weaver made this movie awesome no bad acting in this one.

Final thoughts
Think I said a lot on this movie on how great it was figure I Review it on the 35th anniversary today Ghostbusters is one of favorite movies still here in 2019 and will forever be so Happy 35th anniversary to Ghostbusters. Effects and music fit in well also role of Peter Venkman was going to be played by  John Belushi but he passed as movie was being written anyway happy Ghostbusters day off to work this great movie.

Cast
Tom Hanks as Walter Fielding
Shelley Long as Anna Crowley
Alexander Godunov as Max Beissart

Movie review
Very funny movie this is pure comedy gold movie this is I had lots of laugh this is one house that was broken down everything was a Disaster everything fall apart and that why it was funny everything they touch fall apart and that why you laugh at the way it happens and what worst they had did have permits in the first half to fixed it unit later on also workers seem lazy at first as well because of no permits or not enough money so things don’t go well in this nightmare house but then in the 2 half look like things well but near the end 2 lovers almost fall apart over one silly thing I see so movie can of die down for comedy near the end and turn into romance which is not bad because story is great for this movie I just love this movie because it a movie that makes you laugh when you need a good laugh and the ending would of been great way to set up The money pit 2 never got it oh well was funny ending that same lady who sold couple that nightmare house was there at the end sale it to Walter dad so that house she sold them I bet was another nightmare house anyway a great funny movie this was.

Acting
Tom Hanks and Shelley long were great in this they were funny in this as couple that buy the nightmare house and deal with it In a funny way they click in this movie I been fans of there movies for years you got 2 of best right there is what I think also the other acting was good but not the best in my view so acting not bad but would of been bad without Shelley long and Tom Hanks.

Funny stuff
When Walter fall though the hole In the floor and could not get out and permit guy showed up and got mad because he think Walter was laughing funny stuff also when staircase fall apart I go man that was a nightmare can of funny as well there a lot of funny stuff that is funny in this movie I laugh at lots of movie scenes in this one.

Closing thoughts
A great comedy movie with Tom Hanks and Shelley long The money pit movie as years go by I remember as being a comedy gold movie from the 80’s a movie indeed worth checking out if you have not also at the end if you look close you see someone who was in Friday the 13th tv series Appear just notice her at the end that is something that only if you see the tv series well that it for this week movie review have a great weekend.

movie review
First Time I see this back as a kid did not like it too much but as years go bye and it was showed in my school many times so I did watch it a few times and years go by I thought it was a great love story and dancing but the question was it more of love story between baby and johnny or dancing let say both mix is as main story and it work it was a good plot for music and romance and as for the ending of movie a few holes not bad would of like to see if baby and Johnny stay with each other after the summer but oh well least it ended in not bad ending from start to end this was not a bad movie

Dance Moves Good?
have to say pretty much great dancing moves between Patrick Swayze and jennifer grey seems like months of training did pay off  so lots of great dance moves in this one.

Acting
Acting was great Patrick Swayze and Jennifer grey were fantastic in this one they made this one a 80's classic in my view and Patrick Swayze is still missed today so no problem with the acting in this one at as all.

Music
Music in this one was great some of songs I do like and Patrick Swayze even sing one of songs from soundtrack called she's like the wind and it is a great song by him fits this movie as not only was he a great actor he also great singer as well this one of favorite songs as well also here is a few list from the soundtrack.

Movie Review
after see the Reboot crap I needed to go all the way back to 1987 to rewatch the very first Robocop movie again which is still my favorite movie by the way this movie is fantastic the plot is set up nice it is about a cop who gets shot by bad guys so a company using his body to create let say a super Robot name Robocop to fight the bad guys and the ones who killed him also during the movie he does have memory of his past life as well on who he was, what I like about this movie is it has lots of action also news Segments as well fit in great in fact that way movie started not many movies I see do that it was pretty awesome even commercials was great this is another reason why I love this version Robocop movie Segments had not much to do with the plot but throwing them in fit in well with the movie was pure genius. yes this movie to me was awesome from start to the end a lot of edge on your seat moments as well again this movie is better then remake and still stands up well here in 2018 hats off to writers and everybody who made Robocop a hit in my view because it was great.

Classic
I think Pretty much what I see in this one fits well as a classic movie for years to come it was release in the 80' s and fits in very well with that Era so it's gets a thumb up from me for being a classic and I think pretty much everybody does agree with me as well great movie,

Acting
the acting in this one was great hats off to everybody in this also Peter Weller as well he was great as Robocop he played him great and he gets a lot of credit from me as well he was fun to watch in this one as Robocop he is still the true Robocop today to me.

Most Brutal Death in Movie History?
I have to say yes watching him get Killed was Scary and send Chills down my spine unlike other deaths that I see in Movie History so be careful if you can't handle Brutal death Scene this one you may want to close your eyes unit it was over it was pretty much mess up.

Closing thoughts
one of best Robocop movie out of series in my view great action and scfi Mix Movie I like this movie a lot and have watch it a lot here in the future also did like how the movie ending as well that way I would had a ending to a great movie with a nice smile do watch Robocop today if you have not because it is a fantastic movie.

that Pretty much it for this CornFest Special movie review event have a great day everybody and next movie review will be on wednesday as I head to fargo on friday.

Movie Review
A very good movie this was  great to see again this movie I like it  as a kid and now as adult still like it a lot good singing bye actors too which was great in this one and even had a few laughs in the first half not many but did when baker told them not to touch the cookies baker boy did anyway and eat some cookies  funny part was baker came back so baker boy shove the cookie in his mouth fast that was funny sort of. also the baker was mean not giving the father money at all but later does though also the baker was not the only mean one in this one the mom was telling them kids to never wake up again well they could of left that out in my view she was just mad at baker for not paying  the one she loves money  he owe him but should of not taken it out on her kids. later on kids go out to woods where kids never come home we never know why unit the middle of movie when they run into a awesome house made of candy and cakes was this house real looks like kids eat some then they meet this lady who seems nice and feed them  but later on turn into a witch  that what to fat them and eat them from there it was creepy but good in my view and I was happy with the way the movie ending.

Mask Movie Review

Here my review of the great 80's movie called mask spoilers below is possible

Release in 1985

Cast

Cher as Rusty Dennis

Sam Elliott as Gar

Eric Stoltz as Rocky Dennis

Laura Dern as Diana Adams

Plot- this movie is the story of Rocky Dennis who has Craniodiaphy  Dyaplasia which cause calcium deposits on his Skull that force his face out shape and this was movie was based on the true story of rocky Dennis

this movie was great we got to see the story of real life Rocky Dennis and what he went though being bully and put up with his mom who was mess up with drugs and drinking too much. it indeed had a sad ending but I did like watching this movie because of the great acting of Cher she nailed this one got to give her lots of credit to playing a mom figure she stuck up for him many times in this one this also prove singing wasn't only her greatness but acting as well  also credit to Eric Stoltz as playing rocky he did a great job also it was cool see Laura Dern in this one who played rocky girlfriend she was also good and very pretty.

this movie will go down as being one of the best 80's movies that I see and will remember it for years to come as being a great story of Rocky Dennis. If you haven't see it yet do so because it a good movie with amazing acting in it which made this movie great.

9.6 out of 10 for great.

one of great poem bye rocky dennis below

These things are good: ice cream and cake, a ride on a Harley, seeing monkeys in the trees, the rain on my tongue, and the sun shining on my face. These things are a drag: dust in my hair, holes in my shoes, no money in my pocket, and the sun shining on my face.

My Review

Year It Was Release 1986

this is one of fave Corey Heim Movies and I like How this Movie Starts With great Music and with Bugs and Lucas Walking then its Show you the Title and the Cast Great Way To Start The Movie With A great Opening,

This Movie is About A teenage Boy who fall in love with the new girl name Maggie
but the bad news is she older then him and just wants to be friends, but though the movie he does crazy things to try to win her heart but there is a road block in front of that which is bullying which he does gets bullying for out the whole movie which is sad. I did indeed felt sad for him.

Sound and Picture Thoughts- Sound and Picture was Great For A 80's Movie So no problem there.

Music- I love the music is this one fits in very well for great and sad moments very well done the music for Lucas was.

In The End Do I think Maggie And Lucas Should of Hook Up Lets Just Say Yes And No.

Lucas to me was one of Cory Heim Best Movie I see He did Great In This One and this movie will indeed forever be a classic Movie. If you are a fan of Corey Heim and have not see this movie do so This is Indeed A must See Movie My Rating Of movie will be Below Along With The Trailer of the movie.

Darkside of oz review

figure I would do one more blog and that is  take a look at wizard of oz  and  Pink Floyd darkside of the moon   music sync it took me many times to get this right to match but tonight I got it match up as they say on some sites and what I found was some very good  SYNC POINTS on this one there lots of them so many can not list them all but going to list some I found like others have also here what I found

Dorothy falls right as the song changes and the drums speed up when her rescuer comes.

The clocks start chiming right as the witch comes riding up on her bike.

No one told you when to run" Dorothy is running away.

Dorothy gets banged in the head and as she falls to the bed the music slows down.

when Dorothy returns home at the end the song goes home  home again I like to be there when I can.

when Dorothy open the door to the color world sound of money or coins can be heared.

The Wicked Witch appears on 'Black, black

On 'Blue, blue, blue,' the camera switches to Dorothy (in her blue dress

'Brain Damage' plays as the Scarecrow sings 'If I Only Had a Brain

As 'And in the End' is sung, the Wicked Witch of the East disappears

On 'Out, out, out,' the good Witch of the North leaves

Heartbeat heard at the end of the album is heard as Dorothy listens at the Tin Man's chest

there more but don't have time to write them all but if I had pick 2 that I like it would have to be the clocks start chiming right as witch comes riding her bike that was indeed creepy and the one would be when Dorothy returns home at the end the song goes home home again I like to be there when I can. that was neat because she was home in her bed too me the best one out of all them. this indeed fun to do with 2 things I like wizard of oz and Pink Floyd it was indeed fun. if you are going to try this do it bye doing this   Load CD into CD player; start CD and press pause; start movie, and after MGM lion has roared for third time, unpause the CD. Turn volume down on TV and set the CD player on repeat, and continue to end of movie. do note it might take a bit to get as again took me some time to get it right once you get right see for yourself if you find anything because I found a lot.
in closing this very odd how a old movie and music match up so well think I try other Cd's to see if it matches up well with this movie too doubt as this is best CD that makes up with for more info on this go to link  http://www.ehow.com/how_2104580_synchronize-dark-side-moon-wizard.html the other site is gone so this one here will tell you more about it

must have in order to do this the following below

Pink Floyd darkside of the moon CD
wizard of oz movie DVD or blu-ray DVD
CD player
DVD player in good shape
TV on mute

the list has been update figure I post some more look to see what else you can find  note here in 2025 site is no longer up so again will try and find a new one.
