This week Movie Review was saving for part of 31 Days of scary or not Halloween Movies Figure I would do this week it is a movie from 1957 called The Giant Claw let's see if I think this was silly or not.

Story
Global panic ensues when it is revealed that a mysterious UFO is actually a giant bird that flies at supersonic speed and has no regard for life or architecture.

Movie Review
Look out it a just turkey oh wait just a bird that what this movie is about another movie where people are attacked from a giant Claw from the Sky I was like ok pretty much the first half was that unit the big truth came out and it was a ugly ugly bird that was attacking it look can of funny and silly to me so though for a low B rated movie look like so how to they kill this thing let say big bird took a swim at the end in a silly way to end the movie otherwise this is not worst movie I see but not the best in my view plot was can of goofing from start to the end.


Scary or more Funny
Can of both Bird was Ugly and can of silly the whole movie was like watch out from the Sky Bird from space will Attack you I guess.


Acting
not bad acting but not Greatest either but acting was not worst I see.

Sorry to make this Short Review but not much to look at for a 1956 movie could of added more to make this scary in my view this is why I pulled it from my 31 days of Halloween scary or not movies reviews coming in October I will leave the link to movie but do note you find this a silly movie like I did.

Bull Durham (1988) Movie Review

After a Small break back again with another movie review this is back from 1988  called Bull Durham.

Story
In Durham, N.C., the Bulls minor league baseball team has one asset no other can claim: a poetry-loving groupie named Annie Savoy Annie selects brash new recruit Ebby Calvin whom she christens "Nuke," to inspire with the religion of baseball. Nuke also receives guidance from veteran player Crash Davis, who settles Nuke's erratic pitching and teaches him to follow the catcher's lead.

Movie Review
I don't remember watching this Movie much unit now Have to say it is not a bad movie it is a very good movie with baseball theme, Comedy and a taste of Romance as well and also drama as well but it is a great movie for me because I like this stuff that has to do with all them Themes in one you have 3 great  characters as well force around the plot of movie Crash Davis played by Kevin Costner, Annie played by the Hot Susan Sarandon and Ebby Calvin played by Tim Robbins this was before they become huge stars pretty much they did this one in a Great way in my view love story look like it's  between Crash and annie But Pretty much it was Between Annie and for some Reason Ebby they call Ebby Nuke because he got one heck of a pitching aim but is having a tough time using it though at start but anyway does slowing get better once the movie goes on Which I enjoy as well Bull Durham was well Directed and Write by Ron Shelton as a great movie from start to the end.


Acting
Great Acting from the 3 Stars in this one that they went on to be Big Stars that are Susan Sarandon, Kevin Costner and Tim Robbins were great in this after they went on to make lots of great movies no problem with the acting in this one that for sure.


funny parts
it was somewhat funny when they went mudslide around the bases with  sprinklers on that was funny though and silly this movie did made me laugh some not a lot though.

Classic 80's movie
with Great Acting Plot and Great Story and 3 top stars of acting have to say yes it is a classic to me a very good movie also.


Final Thoughts
So will be I watching this movie again in the Future yes Because it is a great movie with Drama, Romance and Comedy Ending of movie was ok not best I see though otherwise a movie worth watching  Bull Durham that is.

Pretty in pink (1986) Movie Review

The next movie review for  this Superbowl Halftime is  another John hughes movie called pretty in pink from the year 1986. I plan on review a lot more of his movies this year.

movie review
This is another teen movie write by John Hughes and it was drama and some romance because Andie fall in love a rich guy but at the same time her high school sweetheart is in love with her so when you choose rich guy she ends up in a fight with Duckie which sadly last though the middle unit close to the end so pretty that was plot of movie which was not bad but they could added some more jokes to make it funny too but otherwise it was not a bad 80's movie now did I like the way it ended yes but I took a good guess on which guy she would be with at the very end and I was right and well did not bug me much was a great ending to another great of John hughes movie.


One heck of a Cast line up
Pretty much so Love cast Line up in this one in this one had Harry Dean Stanton as Andie Dad, Annie Potts as Andie Co-worker at record store, Kate Vernon, Gina Gershon, Margaret Colin, Dweezil Zappa, Andrew " Dice " Clay and Kristy Swanson who has a small part at the end but was nice to see her in as well all cast was indeed worth to watch in this one my view and for sure and trust me a lineup you won't see in today Era of movies.


Great Soundtrack Music
New Wave songs on Soundtrack fits in well with the movie one of songs called Pretty in pink by the Psychedelic furs is one of top songs in fact the movie starts off with that song as well and it is a Fantastic Song as well so Great soundtrack for the movie.


Classic 80's Movie
Have to say if it write by John Hughes that it is bond to be a classic again he is great at making movies so yeah this one has lot of elements that add up to a classic movie.


Closing thoughts
Well have to say if you love 80's movies as I do and still do today and if you not see Pretty in pink do so because it is a great and fun movie to watch anytime Saturday night or Fridays.
