My Review

Another 80’s movie review ahead and another good one that I been wanted to review for a while now so next review is called Can’t buy me love from all the way back to 1987 gee I feel old now saying that.

So Is this drama movie sort it about a teen name Ronald who is in love with Cindy but she does not notice him sort of like he nerd and she is popular and does not notice that so after ruin her mom dress or something she can not afford the money so he comes up with this silly idea to pay her money just to date her one time for money and for some reason it worked a silly she goes for it so everybody at school is in shock see them hang out with each other so now some how he is most popular dude in school and well town.

But she start not like this idea at all you can tell she getting annoyed a little bit because it supposed to be a one time thing now turns into everyday thing with them two hanging out but as movie goes on they start to get close to each but his best friend gets mad because he hanging out with her more then you can tell as movie rolls.

This movie sorts of reminds of that revenge of nerds movie another 80’s movie which I review a while ago this movie is the way it supposed made in 80’s where teens movie was popular which you don’t find much today I don’t watch many teens movie in this era much that is for sure.

So for some reason they plan to do a breakup in a weird way almost seem real but she didn’t sound she like though but after talking to him she told please don’t change so what does he do he change his look and attitude so now girls like him for some reason so I wonder the whole time he was using Cindy to get popular sounds like it with the way story do I think it a good movie sort of but don’t do it too long May come to backfire later on he try to dance a girl everybody thought he was silly at first but then everybody starts doing it though Cindy is not happy with in fact they get into a small fight they do pretty much them two are not getting along.

So first half Ronald pay Cindy and them two look like they are getting a long after bet was over he changed his attitude and look and now they are not getting a long this where it getting worst as him and some guys egg his friend house and get catch by his friend so now his friend is mad at him don’t blame him then after that Cindy try to be nice to him and he just brushes her off I think she trying to tell him she likes him and miss him but she catches him with another girl that pretty much as Bobby her boyfriend I think finds out about deal between them and leaves her and well she tells everybody about Ronald paying her and just like that everybody turns on him.

Pretty much the last 15 mins with everybody being mean to him he try to make up with his friend but no luck and he try to make up Cindy a lot but not working so how is he going to get everybody to trust him and be friends with everybody again.

Well when his friend was in trouble with guy thinking he pulling a scam on a girl who helping him he sticks up for his friend and a nice speech which everybody clap and so movie look like it was going end with her going with her friends and not Ronald but she choice him at the end and it ending with happy ending in a great way that way I would end it as great movie but was plot a little goofing or not I will tell you below in my final thoughts of Can’t Buy me love.

Final final thoughts

Just some quick final thoughts today and that is plot was little bit goofing but will say it was a great 80’s movies Amanda Peterson was a beautiful lady and great at acting sadly her life was cut too short indeed she is miss but I am happy she got to make this 80’s movie with Patrick Dempsey who was funny as well in view in the end this too me will be a classic teen movie but I wonder if he made up with his best friend at end probably didn’t say but that ok I am sure they patch up things with him at the end but least he got girl back as movie end so even story was little confusing and goofing a little still enjoy the story because it was great love story and great acting as well so that it for this review have a good rest of your weekend.

Beauty and the beast (2017) Movie Review

My Review

Well after see the cartoon version years ago figure I would review the live action version of the tale starring Emma Watson as belle in this one so here my review below of what I think of her in it and how movie was also I am a fan of Emma acting since Harry Potter movie series.

Movie starts off with story being told of a prince my guess this how story and how he become the beast then he see a lady seek shelter from storm she try to give him a rose but he laugh at but this backfire the old lady turn into fairy or something anyway who ever this was mad at him and put a spell on castle and turn him into a beast unit a true love comes guess he mess up big time.

After that we see Emma as Belle she got a nice singing voice then whole town start singing about here interesting start with singing this is musical by the way which is fine cartoon or animated was as well not everyday you have a whole town singing about you then we see a guy trying to get Belle to love him didn’t work out though try again next time.

So pretty first 20 mins is her in town then after that gets dark with father going to that curse castle from start of movie if I was him I would not go in there but he thinks it just a normal castle guess he never heard of tale of this castle as you see light and clock talk they are nice looking items by the way beat it cost a lot to get them two beautiful items in the movie he didn’t stay long as talking cup scared him away but he see that rose 🌹 went near it big mistake as beast was waiting for the horse run back to town as Belle went looking for father this first time she visit castle this where she meet beast and boy they did a good job making him scary looking as well so he makes a trade the girl for father hope the father gets home safe.

32 mins in have to say Emma is doing a good job as Belle she was giving a lot of crap for this role but too me she seems fine for the role of this character to me just want to throw that in.

Anyway back to movie she gets free as candle and this where she meets rest of crew of Castle who are nice like closet that talks and tea pot after that they go back to town some more singing but after that father shows up and try to tell them about castle not many believe him at first in fact they laugh at it not much help from town there.

After that crew try to get beast and Belle to eat dinner with each out but did not work out as both angry with each other and as he left he says she only eat with me or nothing but crew was nice and let her eat with a musical turn that was pretty cool song was called be our guest that a song I heard before after that Belle goes to west wing where rose was and beast catch her and well got mad as she run out of castle wolfs was waiting for her look like she toast but beast save her which means he started to care some.

As movie goes on you can see things are started to go well between them she teaching him how to slip from bowl of soup reading books as well as he gives her the library huge one of books this proves Belle is changing him a lot and finding kindness with his heart but question is still will she break the curse or else he doom better hurry time is running out.

So teapot and rest of crew are going to try again with a nice ball and dance both dress up nice as well Emma will say look pretty in that dress as Belle and she dance very good anyway it was a nice dance but as things was going well she look in the mirror and see her father in trouble so he sets free so she leaves sad so close now curse may never be broken and will end In heartbreak unless she comes back is the question that what they think too me I have a feeling she be back.

So she shows up in time the man who loves her try to put her mental place but she may of made a mistake showing him beast in mirror now the whole town wants to kill him so some how they get to the castle funny how tea pot and others fight them as well getting beat up but a lamp must be embarrassing it was funny Gaston is one evil dude the beast is not bad person.

In the end Gaston got what he deserved for being mean he shot him he dies but then she said she loves him and then lady put her magic and well everything back to normal and everybody as well as movie ends in happy way with everybody dancing and credits at end is a beautiful way as well this indeed was a great movie but find out below In my final thoughts if it was great as cartoon one.

Final thoughts

Well have to say it was good but did like 1991 version a little bit better but will say Emma as Belle was great she did great can’t believe people crap on her for this role she was fine it was a great story and great musical as well hats off to cast and crew for working hard on this well as well acting was good as well did enjoy it a lot and something I would watch again.

Risky business (1983) Movie review

My Review

Another review and another Tom Cruise movie feature him this week review is risky business from 1983.

Movie opens with a nice camera shot indeed 80’s style intro there that for sure then we here Joel talking about dream he had of naked women taking a shower but as open the shower door it goes to college classroom very odd start but the lady in shower was hot so first few mins nudity alright.

Then it goes to poker game with great song in background there which I like and after that goes to him talking to mom and dad who are going out town for a long time so he got the whole house now this where the famous dance go down with in his underwear go down I am sure everybody still talking about that here in future now that he alone he can have some fun just hope it does not get too out of hand for him.

With music it gets very hot as he calls the hotline as this where hot Rebecca comes in man she was hot as well so he end up doing it with a hooker or call girl but he dumb because he should of know she would ask him for money but he does not have a enough as she steal something called that payment for now and it something very important as well it was a egg.

Turns out for Joel his time away from his folks is not off to a great start with him hook up a women who he loves but owe her money it can of like she playing games with play with me and don’t pay and odd things happen pretty much weird writing there for a movie but it works well because you not sure what goes down between them I wonder if she true loves him or just playing mind games to get him to pay up.

She gets into a fight with him as she locked keys in the doors as car roll down the hill stops for min then goes in the lake dad expensive car all in lake he not going to be happy when he so anyway just when you think he mad at her he keeps going back

Then he throw a party to make some money and then college top guy shows up for a meeting and don’t think it went well and his mom and dad calls while she wants him to have sex on a real train.

So they wait unit the last person gets off camera slow down a lot as they do it but no nudity is show this time after he got his dad car back but then somebody stole everything from the house this is bad his mom and dad will be home bad news is guy won’t give them his stuff unless he pay for it too get back maybe after this he learns his lesson so he gets all stuff back but egg has a small crack In it and he also gets in college as well so what happens between him and Lana let’s say it ended well between them in a funny way there not a bad ended.

Wow what a movie love soundtrack of movie with great camera angles not a bad story can of odd writing but will say it was hot and steam writing for this movie was but acting was great from Tom Cruise as teenager in this very young it was good movie again great camera angles and music pretty much made this great movie too me indeed that was 80’s you don’t see much of that today as well this help Tom out as well as went on to be too star still today like top guns movies and others as well so let say I did enjoyed it even though it was a little chessy though.

Cocktail (1988) Movie Review

My Review

Cocktail have not see this one I don’t think starring Tom cruise very young by the way so see what I think if this one of Tom great movies or miss movies.

Movie starts off with cruise and his friends chasing after a bus with cop sound this how he gets on bus guess he missed he goes to New York look like and is working for uncle Pat in New York and gets a few tips from his uncle He try to get work for Wall Street first he try to get many jobs in business but they all turn him down so little bad luck to start but.

So he get a job as bartender first job was busy as heck he was on his feet a lot it was busy he does get a few tips from owner Doug and becomes a hit but he has to keep up with college as well so will be tough keep this job and college as well look like it not going well but as movie goes on look like things start going well he getting more popular and get a girlfriend as well then it got worst she comes in and kiss Doug so both in a fight and he quits then he goes to Jamaica for a new job this where romance starts between him and Jordan played by the beautiful Elizabeth Shue they meet after her friend pass out and then from there movie changes to romance mode as well very fast as well it pick up between this is 80’s must romance movies pick up fast in movies.

I also like the music doing the movie scenes as well fit in well then later they start to make love will say it was beautiful moments and again let say she look beautiful as well again do note there some nudity side boob but not too much just a quick note there for everybody must 80’s movies have this a lot though and see worst trust me in 80’s movies so don’t bug me at all unless they get too out of hand.

So them two are in love wonder if they be getting married well that may not happen as Jordan see him with another girl and goes back to New York so he mess up big time so now he goes out with a old lady sort of pointless he going along with it then he finally dumps bonnie good what took you long he try and go gets get her back no she not buying it pretty much treating him like dirt don’t blame her though she was dump over that dumb other woman and now he paying for it then writers throw a huge twist she is pregnant tell him and throw him out wow she mad so problems continue pretty much movie from there was trying him to get her back he goes see her father and it does not get any better but worst as father hate him as well.

They least could of drag this less but it was part of story but could of cut down though some but there was one sad part something bad happen to Doug which I thought would not happen so sad for Bryan tough see Doug character getting write off though.

So how does the movie ended let say he got the girl back with another huge surprise at the end drinks are indeed on the house after that one.

Not one of Tom cruise great but will say good movie writing seem to have some plot holes in could of had a little more comedy but acting was good and that little twist what happen to Doug sort of put a small damp to that good ending though which writers quick try to make up fast but will say not bad ending and not a bad movie at all stay turned next week I review another Tom cruise movie unit then have a good rest of your weekend:
