Kolobos (1999) Movie Review II

Synopsis

Five young individuals agree to live in an isolated lodge together and have their daily activities filmed. But soon the house is locked down and they run each into the murderous clutches of a faceless serial killer who may not be working alone.

My Review

Years ago did a review on this movie 🍿 look a little sloppy and also wanting to take a look at it again so I can get a better eye on plot and see if I like it more or not here in the future so let’s start shell we with this new redo review of kolobos from 1999.

I will say the start of movie is creepy music fits in well with intro it indeed brings out that you heading into a horror movie theme I like it intro ends with a mystery person drawing by someone

Pretty much the start is view of someone eye who gets hit by a car and if listen close before girl hit my car faints she said Kolobos she lands In hospital and is operated on before being put in a to a room to recover. the patient next to her decides to read the newspaper ads for the hell of it, and one of the ads tiggers her to remember everything that happen to her we find out her name is her Kyra and she spent time in a halfway house an ad looking for five young people to participate in a film. They will be stuck big fancy house with cameras watching there every move then we see Kyra starts to see creepy images of a guy who is creepy maybe it is images in her head or something.

The gory parts don’t start unit around pass 35 min mark where woman gets stab by something very bloody there so everybody freak out and from there it gets very gory and bloody as well as something is killing everybody and locks them in as well the kills are very gory and scary indeed horror there pretty much everybody goes down only 1 left is kyra pretty much killer said he did it for her then just as she was trying to get out we go back with her being in hospital the nurse does not think her story is real but must say that ending was one heck of a twist warning spoilers ahead as I talk about ending a little bit and tell you what I think below then we close it out as well. So pretty much it was her and murder team up the whole time taking out the people and it ended with her getting on phone whole creepy guy was rub her face very creepy ending know she had something to do with it that one creepy way to end it and does make Sense with plot of movie good writing there for ending of a very gory movie so was car accident trama her more to kill more think so with that ending and did events take place in creepy place happen most likely in the end let’s say she was mess up lady.

So was this movie good as first time I watch it will say characters were annoying a little bit was good effect movie with some crazy house with traps to kill people in gory and disturbing ways or was there more then house here because why would it have Metal behind roof and windows 🪟 did not say but I think it was nut house for a set up to kill people will say Amy Weber acting was ok not best though and did say killing was indeed bloody gory that way all horror movies will say so overrate a good movie to check out probably around Halloween time in my view. And also that music when you hear it is very creepy and again matches well with this one.

I am just going to take my first break from writing horror movies unit october 31 to force on tv shows episodes for now so movie reviews will be back october 31 so unit then bye for now.

I give Kolobos (1999) a rating of 6.5 out of 10 for good

Countdown (2019) Movie Review

My Review

Let see how this goes with a app being downloaded which tells you how long you have left to live sounds can of chessy too me but let’s see if I like it or not and think it not good.

Well opening see teens download the app and later the girl was scared her and well when time was up something killed her big time creepy app after see that I was thinking where heck do we go next well next it did hold up some as well but was little bit boring in first half but 2nd half pick up some as well as they fight this thing or demon curse app she does find someone to help her they do try everything hacking the app does work for a bit but it was reset and then all hell goes as time runs out it was not good news for her friend as his time was up so now she must save her so what did I think of final 15 mins of the movie on how this odd movie was not a bad ending we found out doctor is bad and so we get a battle between nurse before she battle the demon it was ugly too and what true form behind the app there after all that was a little hint on maybe another movie coming nice tease there though.

There was a small post credit there hacker guy got it for mess up the app not much though there they could of added that early though.

Well the movie was little chessy for acting but not worst I see kills hold up something the whole plot was silly though but in the end will say this was good horror movie not the best see would I watch again maybe around Halloween or so not sure is it worth see well if you like horror movies from this era indeed watch it you may like it or not.

I give countdown (2019) a rating of 6/10 for good

Black Roses (1988) Movie Review

My Review

Now we look at a movie from Troma company I heard they put on strange movies so let’s see if this one is a good horror movie or bad one.

Will have to say this another weird writing movie or plot for movie for having Rock band who are demons change teens into demons by there music yeah sound can of chessy but this Troma for you the first half is boring but they slowing building up once you got to 1 hour or 35 min mark weird stuff happen they start killing people and stuff and not listen to teachers in school trust me last 15-20 mins get more chessy with rock band turning into pointless ugly demons or creatures and after that wasn’t much but a dumb ending as well not a very good movie at all.

Wasn’t the best horror movie the only horror was bad writing for movie it was just way all over the place but this was 80’s so some movies like that and again this troma movies so they come up with some odd crap not my favorite movie acting was chessy and this probably a movie would not watch again is what I got left to say.

I give Black Roses (1988) a rating of 5/10 for not good.

My Review

Another movie with bullying as movie start with kid being bullying bad it was sad no dance with and Humiliate him then after that we flash forward 13 years where someone is sending cards that creepy and with death threats very scary ways like death threats and killer is behind a creepy mask along with black clothes though the movie this person kill count does start going up as this person goes after 4 woman who treat him like crap but I was thinking if this was boy at start of movie why would he hide his face that when I thought there will probably be a twist or something also this person nose bleeds after killing Victims the ending was shocking on who it was someone close to Kate was indeed the killer Revealed I was wonder why it was Dorothy the whole time well at the end it was indeed Jeremy he change his name and fool everybody wow because at the end Adam nose bleed what a twist there never see that coming and that one heck of way to end the movie.

So what did I think of this first of all acting was good you had a great lineup that guy who played Angel was in this David Boreanaz and he was good you also had Denise Richards in along with Katherine Heigi as well they were Fantastic in this movie as well and have to say this is another good movie for horror it was not the best but did like it so watch it if you like good twists and gory stuff because this movie will be for you.

I give Valentine a rating out of 10/10 a 7/10 for good

Truth or dare (1997) Movie Review

My Review

Truth or dare is a game but in this movie it turn out to be a nightmare for eight college friends who think it Is fun to rent this creepy house because at start of movie you see what this house do bye playing this game cause them to dare or die must say first few mins look scary of the movie if that what is going happen see this will be one heck of a bumpy ride of truth or dare.

First 5 mins after that we Introduced to The characters of the movie who sound goofing and it’s makes no Sense at all how this guy renting the house off a dumb web site what a fool then game starts at 9 mins or 19 mins into the movie the game starts the house is one in control or something or not sure first dare I will say is indeed Disturbing when house told him to put his hand on hot stove do it in 4 mins or dare does you so the guy does not do it so ghost or something does it there self and so he burn his hand and well you can see his skin on the burner that then 2 dare is girl must lick skin and eat it that where I indeed turn my head very sick game being played well she did it and that was crazy dare.

Then after that movie pretty much got disturbing as well you had to go though 3 rounds in 48 hours must finish the game to win but how do you win this is question this is a deadly game that cost life’s as well.

Pretty much the kills were gory as well they did not listen and payed the price well that was pretty much the whole movie look like it was indeed scary movie and when it came down to final 2 in the car and last dare was told what happen in one of most dumb ending I see they hit a tree and you can hear sounds of them Gassing me for air and that where movie end nothing but a black screen which was bad because who ever write this give us nothing my guess it was one of them guess yourself ending which is a shame.

Will say this was indeed gory and bloody but story of movie would of like more we never found a whole bunch on story on house feeding off your pain or guilt but that how it’s feeds bye taking your soul I guess if we would of got little bit more to story would of been great.

For acting it was ok can of chessy but I was very surprised to see Heather Langenkamp In this she had a small role but played in very good for acting I remember watching her in nightmare on elm street great Actress by the way she not in many movies but nice they got her back in this one.

Well I will tell you the truth about this it was a Syfy movie I read but this was on Netflix where I see by the way it was horror movie that was pretty gory even if the ending was crap so do I dare you watch if so I dare you not to eat anything before watching this because it is very disturbing and gross as well watch it at your risk so well would I watch this again maybe around Halloween time bye the way we only had 2 truths in movie but I give you a 3nd bye telling you the truth of movie it was pretty good unit the ending is all I got left to say,
