My review

Christmas Day figure I do another review today of this one with another movie starring Molly Ringwald and Andrew McCathy does this movie top there pretty in pink or not well no here why let get to review on what went wrong and was still ok in this plot thoughts are first and I will have a lot to say about it.

Plot thoughts

It was not good to me look like it was going to be good at start with a nice love story but when he find the truth I guess not sure plot was confusing a little was she 16 or 20 and the whole abuse husband thing was lame can of ruin too for me in last 15 mins he try help out her many times but in the end she turn on him and left and I thought it could not get any worst last 5 mins give me nothing for a ending there it was not a good there will say which is let down not sure why they went that way I guess all movies don’t have a great ending so will say ending was nothing they could of done better for a story plot rating 5/10.

Acting thoughts

This was sort the only thing to me that was good was acting yes that something plot not good but had good acting again from Molly Ringwald and Andrew McCathy can of sucks they didn’t get another happy ending in this and pretty in pink was only 2 movies they were in also Ben stiller in this young his hair did look funny too so acting for some reason outshine the plot on this so for acting rating I give it 6/10 .

Final thoughts

Too me if plot was little better in the last 15 mins there and did not go downhill unit that nothing ending with good acting could of give this one a high rating but do that not good ending I will give it rating of this below 👇

Lucas (1986) Movie Review

Starring……. Kerri Green, Charlie Sheen and Corey Haim

Director………… David Seltzer

Synopsis

Warning spoilers ahead

My Review

What I like about this movie in the first half well it was a cute story between how a teen boy Aka Lucas meets this girl name Maggie played bye beautiful Kerri green it was good friendship as she stick up for him after being bullying a lot and he was trust me bullying Is a lot In this movie so everything in first half was great look like it was good then 2nd half came and yeah.

What I did not like about 2nd half much

Well it went teen drama with him telling her how much he well like her this started to happen some you can tell after she join the cheerleader squad at school they sort of had a small fight then from there he try to ask her to prom did not work but Rina has eyes on him a lot think he should of maybe went with her but they never did go that way but ok.

See Maggie is falling for Cappie and he falling for her pretty much drama between 3 though.

Then in locker room scene he was bullying after make a odd joke can not say it here lol it was funny a little bit but could of keep that out of the movie there what they did too him was way too much in my view .

After that he try to join the football team my guess to try win Maggie heart sometimes you do good things or sometimes wrong things to win a woman heart but sorry it failed as the principal banned him from football team for good.

After that Maggie try to talk to him but Lucas sure you ignore your best friend and dump him for popularity guy ok then but music from David Grusin kicks In very well this is indeed a great 80’s movie soundtrack which I listen to a lot but he keeps running as she try to talk him no dice unit he goes under a under press or bridge then they talk look like they were going to patch things but he told her to leave nope more teen drama as it look like friendship between Maggie and Lucas maybe closed for good?

You know somehow they were going to make them become friends because it would be silly to end it with them fighting but who knows teen witch did it if you know what I mean.

So it was big game here and few players or something for team went down and Lucas came and yeah ask to coach so after angry a few he let him played so I was thinking maybe he get a touchdown and win the game and Maggie and him become friends again and then movie ends well nope he got hurt and they almost made you think he was dead will say acting was good everyone who look sad it felt real almost like it happen in real life though not bad but not sure why writers went there maybe to show us how much people cared about Lucas after all.

Yeah that happen we also find out where Lucas lived and he worked for a rich guy so they went to find father who was not sure just made up he was drunk story probably could not find a actor to play him.

So Maggie and Lucas did talk and become friends again good to see that from what I read they were going to end movie after that and have be a happy ending that would of been ok and weird a little though.

In the end he got his respect ✊ and even ones who bully him clap see that coming though but will say after this one it was worth it though and that how it ends this movie.

Final thoughts

Well it started off good can of went downhill in 2 half for story you had to feel sorry for Lucas he was heartbreaking and bully a lot in this so plot was not best there but it payed off in the end this movie was wack for plot but acting was not bad from Corey, Charlie and Keri green as well in the end it could of been better a little bit but not a bad 80’s movie.
