My Review

Finally another review figure since I review Tom and Meg in last movie you got mail figure I check this one and see if it as good as first movie with them In it so here is my review of sleepless in Seattle.

Movie starts off with a intro with no music for a second the story starts off with a father who wife just died sad start not many movies do that but this does well this part of the start of the plot got to take a risk sometimes bad way sometimes he then makes a decision to get out the town he in and move to Seattle will this be a good move maybe because he wife pass away and needs to get away from that but will take a bit for son with lost of his mom so he may have to then they have a dark light flash on map this is intro goes on for a little bit not too long. Then we go to another story with Meg Ryan character who she is playing Annie is her name and she about to marry Walter played by bill Pullman from spacballs Walter seem like goofball trust me I give it 15 mins and they won’t get married or he dump her I can see something coming where he says I can’t marry you on the way there Annie hears a kid talking to radio station lady about her mom pass away and needed a new wife oh boy Sam finds out and talks to radio dr lady seems like this touching Annie heart  this little boy story pretty much Sam tells a good story good acting there on that part of the movie as it ends when Dr calls it for the night.

Then after that Annie still talking about Sam think she started to fall for him even though she never meet him this is almost like you got mail but a different story indeed it gives vibes from that where they build it up and don’t give you big moment unit ending will they do it with this one most likely could be wrong they could meet anytime will see:

I do feel sorry for Tom character he still having a tough time with loss of his wife having flashbacks and then Sam starts getting letters my guess from radio thing has cause them to feel sorry him which is nice but don’t think Sam cares about them much as he still waiting to find the right lady out there also have to say soundtrack for the movie is very good as well good music picked out too this was 90’s for movie soundtrack at it best now not much.

Annie is now in a pickle she still in love with Walter sort of of but also wants to meet him so we move into sending letters but might be too late as Sam is dating again and his son is not happy about it they are probably going way on who he will choice.

Annie is now heading to Seattle but as he talking to son at airport Annie gets off plane and Sam see her and give her look so they sort of meet he knows what she look like not yet Annie doesn’t know Sam yet she didn’t even look at him too much yet but then she start to figure out who is quick and follow him still can’t go over and talk to him she almost got run over twice and just said hello and she went home so after all that was worthless trip I guess.

Well least they know who each other are this time before the end then last movie so how are both going to fall in love not sure they will have pull off a huge moment and Sam son going to see her is the way but that would be crazy of his son but he do anything to get them with each other so after a fight with dad he does head to New York to find her and now his dad on the way too and they do find each other but will Annie get there in time too meet them is question can see as she was getting off the elevator he was going down look like they just miss each other but then his left his bag there and that where they meet once again they meet at the end and it ended just that way come on would of love to see how it work out I am sure it did least it had a happy ending.

Well after watching this one thought it was very good both Tom and Meg are very good at making movies with each other but they could use of more screen time with other they didn’t get much but it was again good story but also sad one as well with Sam losing his wife though so have to say pretty much best characters are Tom hanks as Sam and Meg Ryan as Annie again very good acting so was this better then you got mail well not best but this was say very good movie I would watch again with two of best stars in it that for sure soundtrack was even good even with song when I fall in love sing by Celine Dion and Clive Griffin as well if too bad we don’t get much good soundtrack in today movies as well that for sure well I think I write a lot for this one as well so have a good rest of your Sunday night I am off to a birthday party soon have a good one.

Alice in wonderland (1931) movie Review

My review

After watching this one is very very dark characters look scary almost like this horror version of Alice in wonderland because costumes look that way too me this doesn’t seem kid friendly also this Alice seem can of rude also camera angles are creepy as well soundtrack is ok some.

Same story but soon as started I wanted to see how this play out and first few mins find it creepy this only 53 mins long short version of Alice story in movies.

Also the Cheshire Cat is played by a human not a cat figure this was 1931 way before CgI came into play so back then they didn’t have it I did find it a little bit scary actor playing him sounds bad as well after that mad hatter is even creepy too me think they should of got better actors for this from what I see in this one again they sound creepy trust me don’t think there be any best characters for this one that for sure.

After 20 mins there is no Alice shrinking or eating cake that cause her to grow tall they could least added that for sure maybe they still will be not sure.

After 25 mins I just laugh at this because characters in this version is bad but queen of hearts doesn’t sound too creepy but white rabbit is bad his mask is ugly and this could give kids nightmares in my view.

Just happy this last only 53 mins because again acting not best and also this one sounds creepy like a horror movie version of Alice yes that what 53 mins viewing felt like happy did not go pass a hour but will say this was 1931 when this was released so who knows what limits they can only do for movies back then so not going to say it worst but not best as well that for sure from what I see little bit boring nothing to get excited about at all but if you do want to watch it is on YouTube under title Alice in worderland (1931) trust me your not missing much though for me hopefully next one is better then this or could worst hope not anyway that all for night need to get some sleep after this so have a good rest of your night or morning.

Alice in wonderland (1999) Movie Review

My Review

Another Alice in wonderland review this time it 1998 or 1999 version with a few stars that I know in it so will it be good have to wait and see the one playing Alice is Tina Majorino who don’t know much about don’t think I see many of her films so will be something to see how she does playing Alice in this one.

So after see first 15 mins of this Alice in wonderland version what do I think well not that I have not have a huge problem Alice dress is yellow and not blue so find that a little interesting guess they went with another version of her dress also when Alice lands in worderland there many many doors around where the heck they lead to is question all of them are locked though as first 15 mins is something and will say it a good start so hopefully rest of the film will stay on that root too also again many names are in this too looking forward to see how there characters play out too this is long movie so look for this review to go long as well.

Alice got wet so then they are trying to find a way to get her dry bye doing silly stuff by having a race then get reward then leave what point of that not sure so then she runs into rabbit then finds his house and if you read the story that right she drink potion and got huge I see many of versions of this story so I know this one by heart then rabbit see and we’ll fall though the window funny he fall and fall unit it so then he hires 2 guys to go see who in house so only way they get her out is too burn down the house then cake appears out of nowhere she eats that and well bring her back size well small.

Pretty much after that Alice is back in woods who will she meet next the caterpillar who played by Ben Kingsley to me Caterpillar character is like a character getting stoned or maybe he magic that didn’t last long but he gives her hints on how to get tall and small then she finds a way to get back normal size then a castle show is that queen of hearts if so that something so she goes she meets a guy who odd but then go in it not queen yet but she meets a lady with a very creepy baby and Cheshire Cat played by Whoopi Goldberg she look very odd with her face on cat this should be something to see hope she funny though sure now a lot of Cheshire Cat but the question Is will cat be on Alice side in story Cheshire shows up at time like I said early never know who show up and which character they play after she leaves the Cheshire Cat shows up again and talk to Alice again this interesting role for Whoopi Goldberg here in my view after talking to her she leaves and it tea party time and Martin short is mad hatter too he look funny I am a fan of his movies so he is good at playing characters like and must say they did a great job making him look like mad hatter too the tea party does go on a little longer about probably due to movie being 2 hours and 13 mins long so tea party goes on for 10 mins then Alice leaves hats off to Martin short for playing mad hatter.

Next she goes though door abd meets someone painting the flowers red this happens 1 hour unit film that where red queen shows and her voice is annoying she is played Miranda Richardson they could of least got someone better to play her because when she yells her voice is annoyed I had to a few aspirin after that one lol then after she see Cheshire Cat not full body just ahead cat does stuck around a little some.

So only a hour left let see if it gets better or not after that Alice goes though a maze so who will she meet next and who show up next she then meets a turtle and it Gene Wilder that right candyman is now a Turtle funny though he is another great actor who could play any roles and shine but too me he look silly though again funny.

Lots of actors In this one have interesting roles and characters in this I mean even gene wilder show up and dance that goes on for about 5 mins then Alice leaves after talking to them.

After Alice finds another book that could lead her home or could lead to something dark then 2 guys knights show up 1 white knight and it doc brown from future must be lost in time travel just joking it just Christopher Lloyd who is playing a white knight goofing one too but funny as seem like in last hour they are making it more comedy way with goofing moments and jokes but don’t mind I he was good as white knight.

After he leaves Alice meets flowers who only talk that didn’t last long as they upset her a little so got back on road and meets t brothers one played bye Robbie Coltrane and George Wendt then they start telling story of walrus and oysters give flashbacks to 1951 version some though Robbie and George did good as goofing brothers then they put on weird suits and look like they are ready to go at it both run out of gas then a dark cloud comes over and queen guards tell her to go back with for a trial which means the movie is close to end see this in many versions of story so wonder how this will go.

Only 13 mins mad hatter shows up again and sings and queen gets mad guess she don’t like singing I will say the costumes do look good in this one though for 1999 or 1998 version though mad hatter leaves so I bet Alice will be call up next yep and she eats a cake and gets tall again then king tells her to leave wonderland due to her being tall after talking a huge apple comes down as card starts to fall down as dark this after rabbit says you don’t need us and she some how lands home and so so how does the movie with singing as characters from wonderland was back in there human form as they show highlights of movie fast and ends in happy way.

Well after getting though 2hours and 13 mins of that have to say it was good movie characters did good bye actors though this was not best one some scenes was a little long though only one character that was little bit annoying was red queen otherwise again it was good version of story.

Well that it I have writing a lot in my view it was good to get another review up unit next time have a good rest of your day.

Rainbow (1978) movie review

Quick movie review this will be story of this is around Judy garland when she was young the actress playing her is by Andrea McArdle she does a good job too as opening has her singing as story starts then it was pretty much how she started to get up there she did go throw a lot with her Judy dad passing her mom Force her to take pills just so she get her daughter to make money the movie did a good job though on her childhood years but would of like a little bit more though so if you looking for this movie to feature her most of life they only feature on her childhood this felt like a tv movie and think it was the acting is in is not best will say good though piper Laurie play her mom as well and does a great job playing her too from what I see.

So was this a good movie feature Judy garland it came out in 1978 the year I was born and I think it was a tv movie because of cut out to black for a second otherwise not bad they did say some about her become Dorothy in wizard of Oz she was lucky to play the part as they almost went with Shirley Temple but she drop out so you get too some of story in this one too so what did I think of movie well it was good not best Judy garland movie for a tv movie it ending with her somewhere over the rainbow and eyes pop up again before it role credits only thing missing was maybe some video footage of real Judy garland at end maybe it was due to copyrights could not get not sure so it worth time if you want to chef out this one indeed.

Well this first movie review of year sorry it took long had a rough start to 2025 it now getting better so do I plan on doing movies reviews but this time taking time you never know when pop up so keep a eye out figure I review this one since it not too long anyway that it keep warm anybody here in Minnesota it is cold and have a good night.

Rainbow (1978) rating 6/10
