Synopsis

During a 10,000 year meteor shower, a rogue asteroid smashes into the moon ad causes disastrous electromagnetic anomalies of weightlessness on earth.

My Review

I love movies with meteor shower in it so on to this week movie review here what I think of Impact (2009) movie below.

Nice start with shot of space going down to earth then we see 2 kids with there father watching stars then we go to England where people watching meteor seems like first few mins force on everybody watching to skies then pop up Natasha Henstridge no she not monster or something like species movies years ago I think she playing a scientist this time.

First five mins everything was looking fine unit meteor hit the moon and gives them a hour before it hits pretty fast there not wasted anytime on meteor thing either allready bring out big stuff early with meteors in sky pretty scary some it like giant fireballs in the air coming to earth it hits the water so tide waves will be huge maybe or not sure how budget on this movie is.

This movie is also 3 hours 7 mins long so I am sure something big will happen within 3 hours of movie.

So far see a couple getting ready to married and she had news for my guess she pregnant and was going to tell him but he had to leave for work.

Then after that at his kids baseball game things started happen phones go out and electric storm hits them must be effect of moon pretty much so after meteor hit moon strange things do start happening slow.

Then it goes back to couple ready to get married and she was indeed pregnant though drama some yes here in first hour pretty much force on building it up some can of slow just a few jump shots but not too much again this movie is 3 hours so hopefully it will pick up in the next hour so this mini series and is 3 parts no did not see it on tv but see it on Tubi the full movie.

So made to 1 hour not too much a great start but got some what boring a few build up but nothing big yet but hour 10 mins in does start to get interesting people flying though the air can off odd after that it does start to pick up as electricity stuff is being effect and they are warning people to stay after electricity and stay in and then everybody starts flying in the air and train starts to crash so things are indeed started to pick up as moon 🌝 is moving away not fast though they might be getting the same results for next 24 hours so it not over yet hopefully them people on train are ok but it was bad crash and also guy girlfriend mom to be is on train that crash as well it will be sad if she dies but that way disaster movies some make it though.

Also news got worst as end of earth could come and get wipe and that how part 1 of this movie series ended.

Part 2 shows everybody is ok some our on train and get off it and go for help as grandpapa and kids try to hit a boat but are are lift in air on road and into air as they crash lucky they are ok for now but then as they walking grandpa starts having a few problems in his gut hopefully they run into someone soon who can help them out before time runs out and goodbye Earth.

So far see a few moments in here but nothing chilling huge yet for this movie but they will try nuke weapons to maybe destroy the moon and maybe end this for good and save earth wonder if work is still question or could make things worst the kids and grandpapa find a place with water but someone almost attack them grandpapa stick up for them but he is hurting bad.

They try nuke weapons but made things worst days of impact just went from 35 to 5 days now then they have another plan and hopefully will work this time as they root the plan kids keep helping grandpapa out but he getting worst there is problem with plan as they need someone who can go up and turns out to be Alex kids father oh man that heartbroken very tough but he choice to be a hero and save the world but wonder who take care kids now because grandpa is not in good shape hopefully the guy who there will be nice to them and help them out sad news just as thought the grandpapa pass away very sad moment hopefully father somehow makes it back would be even more heartbreaking for kids if they lose there dad next.

The guy took kids in he almost left there but felt bad about there grandpapa though and give them a ride good for him least he doing something right there now it up to crew to put a end to this disaster once and for a all kids thank to guy got to talk to there dad probably last time the way it sounds I hope Maddie here takes them in and raise them that how I hope it goes before the end of movie that was tough to watch though him saying goodbye but he doing this to make sure they and many others life’s go on and not end but question is will they able to save earth.

So who put there life on land turn out to be Roland not Alex but did it work or not it did and not only that Alex lived thanks to Roland telling him to go home Roland indeed went down as hero that for sure as movie had a happy ended with Alex see his kids and Maddie again not a bad movie.

So was this good first and 2 part can of lag on writing a little with drama but this turn out to be a good movie at end it sucks roland had to die before see his son or daughter born but movies like they end up having someone sacrifice there lives to save earth so not a bad movie long movie if you watch full version this review is long one in the end to pretty much close it out will say it is indeed a must see if you like good movies with disaster in it.
