Movie Review
this movie was fantastic it was love the cool intro at the start of the movie and what odd is detention was on Saturday I guess when you get in trouble you pay the price there may of been a cool easter egg for the movie for keeps when he said get the prom queen pregnant to Claire who is played by molly who went on to star in For keeps in 1988 or maybe not otherwise the movie was about high school kids or teens stuck in detention what's interesting about this movie was how they will get along with each other and find ways to keep detention fun and not boring and also try to find a way to get away from teacher without getting in trouble the teacher is rude and mean as well to the teens went a little too far in my view being that mean so hated the teacher he was a complete jackass as for laughs in this there is some in the first half and last half of movie not funny because they tell stories on what there life is like and it was pretty sad what they are going though felt sorry for what they were going though sound tough also this was a test if they stay friends or not in the last 15 mins of the movie after see that I was wonder who will walk out with who at the end it was shocking to me to tell you the truth on who walked out in love with each otherwise it did give a good ending and not bad a great movie from start to end from John Hughes.
Acting
no doubt the acting in this one was great everybody in this one was fantastic for acting some of best performance that I see in a movie you won't be letdown too much by the acting if you see it as I did.
Classic Movie
they say this one is a 80's classic they are right it pretty much is and will be for years to come in my view this get a thumb up from me for being a classic movie.
final thoughts
at first didn't know if I was going to like this or not because I was a kid when this came out back in the 80's but I did enjoy it just as I did with other John Hughes movies the last mins of the movie was good the way the characters broke down there they went from being goofing to sad that too me was best of part of movie and what made the movie great hats off to John Hughes for this movie he write a classic for many many years to come and this movie is a movie I would watch again if you have not see it do so because it is a great movie and let hope it is never remade.
the Breakfast Club (1985) rating
