My Review

On this Christmas night I be reviewing the last Mickey Rooney and Judy movie review for a while I hope to review and see more of there movies sometime soon been fun Review there movies here for the last 3 or 4 weeks so here is next one on Christmas night called babes on broadway from 1941.

Babes on Broadway start off with a nice intro there with credits not too long of intro there which is good story is almost like the last few of them trying to get in big time with song and dance as well but this time they are trying to get a spot on big show babes on broadway show it start of with 3 guys trying to entertain people at restaurant but there only bring in 3 people which cause the owner to fire them Mickey character name is Tommy Williams a lady gives them a nice tip turns out she head of babes on broadway show as they meet here later on as well so they got there big break there then he hears a lady crying which is Penny her name is Aka Judy garland I notice that cry anywhere well he cheers up and takes her home where he eats cake and do a song and sing again them 2 put on a good dance and song when they are both together on screen this was good song as well then we go to where try out are taking place and everybody wants to try out for big show and turns out guy turn them down so back to drawing board now so he go to address to see penny but see her sister crying so he goes to Mr. stone to put on a show he gives the ok but he must go to top guy to get permit for the show after hearing that I wonder if writers go on having him turn on him and say no or maybe yes well before we get there they put on a amazing musical show dancing is pretty amazing in this one just love them musical 🎤 scenes and to end the scene they did another beautiful closeup there.

After that they get apply but it same time as other event for some reason penny gets upset after Tommy said something about not need the kids anymore sure made penny mad though after that they did another show

Which was great and well lady give him a huge offer to go to Philadelphia but she turns it down at first because of kids but later make up as he does not go to Philadelphia after all so they find there first theater but it not good shape then we have them dream and we see them in many characters which was cool then we see them cleaning theater and now it showtime Mickey dress up as woman in dress was funny but then guy show up and tells them to stop the show due to a building fire exit code or something not good news but later they make some money to send kids to big city but Mr Jones has a beef with them so they ask him to watch a small show they will put on for him the guy has total loser to turn them down after see this amazing show I would apply them and sign them right away they must of like because we get a full show and again wow what way to end it this great movie.

Wow another great one for this musical movie love the costumes, music and singer and acting this was another fun watch with Mickey and Judy both indeed had lots of talent that you don’t find much in musicals today that for sure good writing as well for years to come this one will go down as classic and them two will be remember for some of best musical I see they are indeed magic on big screen and stage that for sure great movie this was.

My Review

Another week and more reviews of Judy garland and Mickey Rooney movies this review Is of girl crazy from 1943 god bless both of them and may they rest in peace.

This is my first time watching this movie as well which is why I am excited to watch 2 of beat for a movie so let get started shell we. In this one Mickey character seem like a playboy type because he surrounded by women in opening moments of movie with great music as well they seem to be all over him in a funny way then he gets sent to college but it is 8 miles better get walking while walking he see a car broken down and someone is working on car her name is ginger aka Judy Garland when she finds out his name she started laughing funny and he gets mail car fixed she leaves him so back to walking he does make it college but seems like a joke riding a horse and wagon wheel falling off seem like bad luck there for Danny that for sure for some reason ginger can’t stop laughing at him there was funny moment between where he stay to get her to like him but in song she tells him off again was funny but words on that song did fit in well there that for sure good comedy there.

Then we go to a movie scene where it her birthday and guests are all guys look like ginger trying to find the right guy on her birthday as well Henry was lucky guy but he asked her to marry her which was big mistake right another corner was Danny and her ginger talk and started to get along slowy build there well bad news come later is college is closing Judy garland acting for crying is very good every time I see her tear up almost like real tears there great acting and when she laugh she is funny too that there proves how great acting there too me well to save the college they are going to put on a musical show this sort of remind me of babes in arms some.

So you got to wonder if this works out and ginger and Danny wind up with each other well musical show does go they crown a new queen

It did not go well with ginger and Danny but final 10 mins again was some of Judy and Mickey best in a musical show that for sure wow what a way to end this classic movie with them looking at camera even I clap 👏 at the end.

For last 2 weeks I see some of greats from Judy and Mickey and have to say again this was indeed another one of there best movies that I see watch this If you have not it will indeed entertain you in a musical way a very great movie girl crazy was and see you next week for link only review from both Judy garland Mickey for now have a good rest of your weekend.

My review

If there another 2 Legends of Hollywood it is Judy garland and Mickey Rooney so this first time I see them both in this one I see them in Andy Hardy movies and them 2 were great in them movies so looking forward to review Babes in arms so let see what I think indeed of this one below.

In this one story starts off in a good way a baby is born while father on stage he finds out later he is a father then we see scenes of that kid growing up then as teen he trying to get him and his girlfriend on big stage which is father could since he top guy he does end up sale his song for $100 yeah not too much he try’s again with more songs but his father turn them down he winds up trying to prove he can do it by put on his own show with them good idea but there will be tough challenges ahead for him later on he runs out money or so and a rich girl may put his love life with patsy in danger she leaves him after see him kiss the other girl she does get advice from her mom and she goes back so rich girl father finds out about her part In show he pulls her away from it so he gives the part to his girlfriend which should of done before maybe that why she left him too I bet. Look like everything was going well with the show but a storm roll though and ended something how writers did that to again make it look bad for Mickey because later

On he gets in a fight with father who was fired and wants to start over and wants Mickey to stop what he doing Mickey and him angry so I was oh writers were throw in bad before it ended well and well last 10 mins did prove it some the musical show went on and everything turn out good Mickey and Judy and everybody made this movie end in a great way even I clap at the end which I don’t do much what a great musical babes in arms is.

A very great musical movie no doubt for years this one will be a classic great acting singing as well even great songs the good morning song fits in well I heard it play on radio a few times in morning they made that song fun also a rare appearance for Margaret Hamilton which was cool she didn’t have a huge part but was great see her in this one. After see this I was indeed happy to see it and review it as this only start next few weeks I be reviewing a few of great with Judy and Mickey so next week stay turned will be reviewing girl crazy so after this looking forward to watching it so that will be next week in closing if you have not see this one and are fans of both Judy and Mickey do watch it this one will not let down that for sure.

My review

My review of Sorority girl review before I give you 3 movies reviews feature 2 stars that I been wanted to review for most of review but before that let’s see what I think of this short flim which is only 1 hour and 1 min long.

The start sort feels like a horror movie the plot does as well with a girl getting revenge no this not a horror but could of been but it more of drama movie .

A woman starts movie talking about others is she one that going to get revenge on them or tell them truth if they ask she does seem a little mean later on we see dick Miller a very young one by the way great actor also he in college with rest of him doesn’t do much yet maybe later.

College girl goes see her mom who also mean to her there and that where it tigger mean in her she said someday after that she does start being mean slap girls making them do her Chores then her friend tells her a huge secret bad move because she might end up using it for dirty trick later.

Don’t see much of that but after her friend does not want to do sit ups anymore she give a Spanking now she getting mean then ever hopefully this backfired on her later at end being she is one mean woman.

Last 15 mins hopefully all of this being mean comes back to backfired on her so does it yes everybody goes after her after she almost cause someone to kill herself they pretty much gang up and after that it ended not much but least they step to her at end but do I think she was good or not.

For a short film was not too bad but not best either with her being mean could of been better writing though little bit boring acting was ok though Roger did not too bad of directed it either they could of least strip her of being in college or suspended her would of been better ended then that so overate will say ok movie.

Hercules (1958) Movie Review

Next movie review is Hercules movie from 1958 So let see if it good or not good movie.

The intro is around 2 mins long wow could of been shorter but ok by the way Steve Reeves is Hercules in this one so first few 15 mins he seems very good at playing character so far he did Rescue a woman who has interesting story and she very beautiful she and Hercules will be a romantic later on.

The movie is pretty good lots of high points Hercules Is test some of romance and battles again some animals like bull and lion and later on they meet a bunch of woman’s Amazon woman Vibe because they have a queen but not sure they are Amazon’s because they look like they are getting along with men but one of guy hear them talking and one woman say they must die before sunrise.

There wasn’t much threat to Hercules unit monster but it was weak though was a little creepy though so what does last 10 mins of movie give us one heck of fight which I been waiting to see and this was some of Steve reeves best as Hercules he was so tough he brought down a building down and after that movie ends in a happy way good ending there.

Have to say great movie with Hercules story lot different Hercules story then I see before but good didn’t much action unit the last 15 mins but that was ok I enjoyed it that prove there again how good Steve reeves was as Hercules character he show how amazing he was this was indeed worth checking out if you get a chance I would maybe watch this one again because it was very good.

Alice in Wonderland (1949) movie Review

My review

This is 1949 version of Alice in wonderland that open the door for many more versions this one is live action with puppets so it is indeed old take a look at have to say picture look good for a 1949 film Costumes look ok 1 guy look like he dress as Abraham Lincoln look like maybe it just me they both look the same though at start of the movie now I just wonder how this version will do because I see many that have try and some failed.

After watching a few mins we meet Alice who is played by Carol Marsh who I never heard of least but age she seems to look a little old for part but maybe get pass that and her acting will be good for to give her a gold star down the line we see.

So was this a dream maybe father started to tell story and look like she fall asleep and then it show her chasing the rabbit down the hole and on too wonderland rabbit does look a little creepy puppet though but doesn’t bug me kids it may or not though some look good though for puppets but for kids may want to be Caution some though when you see.

Seems like to me when Alice goes to wonderland everything becomes Animated Will say that something for a 1949 movie back then also this turns musical later on funny at start there was not much singing at start some of singing not bad can of funny though some of it not best though.

First I worder is this French movie because the voice over of puppets sound French and it was indeed that for sure it was French voiceovers.

As you go though the movie you meet more puppets or clay motion they look like it they look more ugly and scary again might scare the kids a little they could least done a better job on that though.

Well after making it though this version of this classic tale so what did I think on how ended was it bad or good or not good well it ended just like others but was it a dream a not was question.

Well can of creepy a little good acting from Carol as Alice not best one to get gold acting star maybe a silver star at least for acting as for story it was ok puppets again look creepy so will say this version was not worst I see but will say weird one for 1949 version I will say but after this 2 years Disney release there better version so would I watch this again probably not.

Santa’s Christmas Circus (1966) movie review

My Review

This is another old film or movie it is only 59 mins long this is a hopefully nice movie and review for holidays now here in 2022 a movie about a clown name Whizzo the clown never heard of him before only clown that I know growing up was bozo the clown now this got low ratings but I want to check it out myself below will be my thoughts on this movie.

Well have to say first 15 mins was kind of goofing this feels like I am watching a episode of tv show of Whizzo the clown and not a movie the kids show up at 10 mins of film almost 21 mins in and does not feel like a Christmas movie but later 1 kid is sad and later he brings out time machine this will take them all to Santa Clause look like it just a video on tv with Christmas music where time machine was indeed one screen tv or something but they are showing Christmas footage like toys and everything Christmas is cool dolls are showing a nice Christmas boat very pretty back in 60’s later on they get rid of time machine or big screen now magic Carpet comes into play so now they are on the way to meet Santa at North Pole hopefully and they do I can of laugh when he got stuck in clouds help help me can of silly but the reason why they go there is one of kid is having a hard time believe in Christmas they didn’t stay too long oh well and film ends with kids changing back into normal clothes and ending with clown going to 💤

Well must say it was ok 1960’s Christmas film or show it felt like a show since it Christmas time not going to crap on it was little bit fun not as bad as everybody says it would I watch it again probably not only problem is time could of been more if it was over 1 hour 59 mins not much there and they didn’t get to Santa unit 40-45 mins I know there it would be a short trip and it was that the only problem I have with this one but it was not a bad Christmas film fun for kids for this season and for a film that was release in 1966 so in the end was it worth the time maybe for a very old old movie or episode.

Nosferatu (1922) movie review

My Review 

The final movie review of this Halloween movie reviews from the old days been fun see lots of good movies and some not too good movies but this next one is I am hearing it is best horror classic old movie so figure I will watch it and see what I think of the movie. 

Silent movie are very good as this one is very well done for a 1922 film back then this one I am watching has movie doubt they had music back there and just silent film not sure will have to look it up anyway this soundtrack is pretty amazing. 

The characters are very good in this can of creepy for a old movie that way horror movie should be for a old movie vampire guy is can of creepy as well the guy who played him did a great job playing makeup is Excellent as well they sure made some Characters of Transylvania looks scary that is for sure creepy vampire looking guy is probably the best one of the film the guy Sneaks around the castle at late hours of the night with a creepy look as well so this pretty good film where the characters fit in very well making it good. 

As for story it was written very great as well for this old film was creepy with the guy going to Transylvania castle where a vampire is there waiting for him but later he somehow gets out there and then vampires pretty much follow him around most of time there were some kills but they didn’t show them much back then I bet. 

So did the film ended in huge twist not much he got what he came for and Vanished sad ending but good silent movie or film. 

I have to say I did enjoyed this old classic it was put put together very well back then for a old movie this will continue to be a horror classic from back in old days for 1922 this why I save it for last very because I heard good things about this movie and they were right it was not out of this world scary but again just put together well as well and if your horror fan should it be worth checking out that for sure .

Count Dracula (1970) Movie Review

My Review 

Last year I think it was I review my first Dracula movie this year reviewing another one there so many versions of this one is 1970 one so let see if I think this one is better then last year one I see. 

Nice opening with castle of Dracula I think creepy music that a way to open up this movie . The guy later on wants to to Count Dracula castle everybody he talks to know what going to happen they are Freaking out very good acting there first 10 mins night Scenes are shot Beautiful with fog at night this guy is brave but crazy don’t think I like to go there and stay at that creepy castle or house Christopher Lee shows up at door and welcome him acting creepy too when he stands next to guy who open the door next to mirror he was not there that gives you sign he probably Dracula if I was that guy I would probably be running but this guy he did not very brave this guy is later on we see three woman who were Count Dracula Victims show up and try to eat them but Count Dracula says he my after first 20 mins this is a very good version and so far see amazing movie this is the way any Dracula movie should be. 

The guy jumps out window and wakes up in hospital and said he was at Count Dracula home and every time some one says that film goes zim in there eyes like being scared can of creepy but amazing shot there as well. 

There is a guy later who eating a bug they try talking to him but no luck not sure what that about maybe we see later on hopefully Count Dracula does get his first Victim later on a young girl name Lucy figures Dracula likes going after woman he does bite her later on Christopher Lee as Dracula will say fits the role amazing  job in this one probably the best one I see yet for this role. 

The music and soundtrack fits in well with movie as well with Scenes as well making indeed scary some as well every time he shows up you know he coming with music scary and so far he going after Lucy bite her twice my guess later she become his bride or just die.  She does show up now a vampire going after young so only way to stop them is go out and battle vampires so we may get a all out war for final battle with 2 guys going after him but good luck Dracula is tough and very powerful as well. 

When animals Statues make noise it was very scary there in castle good thing they have the cross and holy water going to need much I had a feeling he would go after blonde lady next and I was right he did. 

So down to final 10 mins after all amazing stuff I see in this I was Inside to see how this movie ends and what final moments bring they do go after all woman he turn first then go after Dracula next but again Expected me to be a fight he not going down without one but he did not they just pretty much burn can of odd ending but does spoil the movie too much as it was great. 

Something I would indeed watch again everything about this movie was great from acting to music great tale on Dracula series Christopher Lee as Dracula was great he was creepy as well he fit in well for that role enjoyed that as well this something you should check out if your a fan of series as well I would probably watch this around Halloween time because it fits in well with that holiday so will say in closing this indeed a worth checking out.

Night of the Big Heat (1967) movie Review

My review

This is first time watching this movie night of the big heat says it Scfi horror movie so let’s see like last one if it is more of Scfi then horror movie.

First 5 mins no talking with woman driving down who ever she is very Beautiful Looking lady her car breaks down and is help after that a old man trying to start a fire he see something that scares him what not sure as color starts turning blue wonder if this has something to do with heat I found that odd and just cut to another Scene without showing us do hear a small buzz sound as well very odd sound you know something goes down when that sound start.

29 mins and story does heat up as woman driving was a ex of Scientist who married now she here to maybe heat things up again look on his face was priceless when he see his ex that not force to me on story whole interesting there seem to add that as 2nd story to steam things up whole things are heating up.

Something is cause people to burn 🔥 after a odd buzzing noise cause death so Christopher Lee character is trying to figure why it so far just see some effects and noises too me watching this seems can of slow does I do say acting a lot better then story I see going on though with slow writing though people Disappearing with sound of buzz so where do go not sure or maybe they just die it is confusing movie though it is more of Scfi but horror a little bit not much so after watching 1 hour and 11 mins in I was hope with slow building and writing that this would have maybe a huge ending that will be great.

Well last 15 mins we find out it is light that cause everybody to burn 🔥 up after that not good news for them when sun comes back up turn out what cause this was monster thing not sure was ugly though there was many so how did it getting it wet kills them then a few mins later it just ends.

Not best movie but not worst Scfi movie though was a weird one I say did not like ending much pretty much acting was better then writing though could of had a better build off then they killed 2 of best actors can of upset me a little bit but if they had to do it that fine would I watch this again maybe I would as for ending they could of had a better ending then that oh that how you kill the things or monsters the whole time can of silly too is all I got left to say.

Next the Spell starring a young Helen hunt that came out In 1977 movie starts with Bully a girl on her weight mean girls that is mean this sort of has Carrie vibes because that movie started out in same way then we climb rope match up and the girl was swing around and around and fall Flat ouch so did she die they never say because they cut to another Scene did talk about it later that then got me thinking probably has Carrie cash in or try with whole supernatural teen plot some but who knows maybe it turn out good for a TV movie yes this is yet so don’t look for too much gore it maybe have some scare spots after I got 30 mins and learn more about Rita character though she indeed one creepy girl though she seems nice sometimes though later on her a lady comes downstairs and just start to freak out ended with her being on fire and died pretty odd but can of scary some there that for sure:

Last 13 mins we find out someone help her using her powers but lady made her mad but does not kill her at all her mom finds out her Secret and then she goes crazy what a twist it was mom vs daughter sort of power battle but mom win and no one die as they huge there I almost thought it was going to end in death 💀 but it just ends what a weird TV movie I am sure many like me was probably going wtf I will say this was not best horror but good.

Well pretty much a Carrie rip off with knifes throwing thing at the end but I will say this was not bad movie Rita character start off little slow but as movie goes on we see her powers grow as that happens her attitude because bad as well which is pretty good writing for plot and at the end it was witch vs witch battle mom vs daughter but it did not end with no die not a bad way to ended too like a powerful message for the ended I will say and acting was good you had a young Helen hunt who was not bad in this very good acting as Susan was also good so you had some good acting that for there were some scary moments the music made it scary though and creepy though for old movie release in 70’s though In the end I will say I Enjoyed it it was very good horror and worth checking out if your like movies that too scary or gore gore movies would I watch this again probably I would.

Nightmare Castle (1966) movie Review

My Review

Next movie on review list for this Sunday feature another horror movie or so callled nightmare castle.

Opening shows a husband and wife and her sister or stepsister old are they witches also later on just as thought she cheating on her husband will say Piano music fits in well for this 1966 movie here first 15 mins are indeed painfully to watch her stepsister turn them in to husband and then after he caught him Torture began from him then we find out he after a Will but later on he kills both of them I think the same Actress play her sister as does a double role in this one as stepsister later on you can tell they are build up return of dark hair sister with small scares can of creepy as well turn out to maybe be a dream first 33 mins so far good her husband is something very evil man as he May plans on killing her as well.

Near the end the dead raise indeed as Muriel returns gets payback on Steven and boy she did let’s say Steven got put up in flame as movie after that comes to a close with a happy ending for Jenny what a great horror movie that was.

Pretty much this was a good one from start to end it was indeed scary some and plot was good with good music as well Barbara steel pretty much stole the movie with acting she was good as Muriel and Jenny I think she look a lot pretty as Jenny with blonde look as well also give credit Paul miller as Steven as his character was crazy what his plans in his head at the end for Steven again let’s say his plans went up in smoke. So would I watch this again good chance I would because it was a great movie for 1966 or 1965 horror and also soundtrack is very great as well any fan of Horror should check this movie out because it was indeed very very good movie with again great acting.

I give the nightmare castle (1966) or (1965) a rating of 7/10 for great.

My Review

I have heard that this one of best Scfi movie made in history so figure I give it a look says horror as well will see if it more Scfi though some movies are like where it more Scfi then Horror see movies like .

This another early movie made it 1953 or early it has one heck of plot too with a Magnetic monster attack earth so now it cause havoc to everybody mess up stuff and cause death I like to know where this came from maybe space or something did not say much do note it does have a slow build first 36 mins not see too much effects but some computers later on we found out this thing is feeding in space I was like if that thing grows huge could cause problems later on so how do best this thing that every where and is not easy to find before it hits items that could blow up town in a big boom.

They try to do something with machine that will maybe kill by closing the gates one of guy try to stop must say the effects was indeed out of this world for a big ending there like that was huge budget type lighting but will say it was pretty good for more Scfi then horror movie would of like a lighting shot at end though fooling everybody it is still not over that would of been cool but they did not.

So after watching this though was it best Scfi movie sort of yes and some no it was little bit boring with not too much effects early but that ending pay off though and this not much a horror too me so if your looking for horror not going to find much for this old movie but will say acting was pretty good and I will say I was happy I got a chance to see it though would I watch it a 2 time not sure Let’s say to end this review a maybe.

Witchcraft (1964) Movie Review

My Review

Movie opens with bulldozer going over graves that indeed enough to wake something evil the old guy tries to warn him not too it but when it comes to money he won’t stop later he goes back to graveyard and that when we hear something Is waking up in grave the music is creepy also they show the grave started to open but did not show her yet. Later on guy talks to old lady about Symbol on the grave and when finds out what it is his face reaction was indeed priceless he knows he woke something up that is indeed evil and worst then we see witch standing there pretty good makeup on Actress there to make her look like a witch there she look creepy and she look like she ready to raise hell on anybody who woke her up.

So does she slowing goes after them only 1 death in first few mins when she awake but this good you want to slowing build her up to be badass witch later this what I hope they then later on witch strikes again with a lady driving her car over the hill but too me it didn’t look like a deep hole but she did crash so guess it count so how do stop a witch that can pop up anywhere without you notice not sure she is one heck of witch she can play with mind making things you see but is not real.

Then as movie goes on later We see Drones in suits worship I think the witch and Surprise it some of people from at start not sure but I think they could be under witch spell and now form a cult with witch or maybe they are against her not I was hope that but his smile show he is working with her.

So what did I think of last 19 mins the guys go down looking for his girlfriend they do find Tracy tie up Dazed so they did Escape but in the end it was tough watching guy see the one he loved burn 🔥 up figure it would that way and it did.

This was not a bad horror movie good not best the witch had easy part look like she didn’t even talk most of her powers was claw or playing mind tricks on you that was it do say the makeup on her look ok for a old movie she was little creepy also acting was very good as well and it ended the way I thought it would see many movies where fire kills witches and this one show for a old horror movie again it is not bad I would give her a few more powers to make her powerful and I would do something with that ending as well but it is a old movie so I understand they went for ending not worst but did end ok for a not bad movie.

I give Witchcraft (1964) a rating of 7/10 for good

My Review 

Scary or not old movies keep on rolling with this next one called Horror High (1973) about a teen makes some sort of drug that side effect goes wrong. 

After see it have to say it had some scary moments but not out of this world scary for a 70’s movie music did fit in well with when he become that that thing so soundtrack is pretty good will give them that story was ok little bit chessy but did have bullying a teen got bullying by everybody so he created something that gets revenge on them that turns him into Hyde monster movie was little chessy but very bloody and gory some kills will give it as a ok horror movie not best I see as for ending know it that was going to happen pretty chessy for a 70’s movie. 

Will say it ended odd with him being take over by Hyde and telling the one he loved he kill all them and did not care think he just give up trying and let monster take over Then as movie was about to end went dark and then we heard voices talking about him it was odd after a second came back with a sad ending not a bad ending again the music fit in well to roll to the credits must say this was not a bad movie can of chessy with him turning into this thing but it was not bad for a old movie would I watch it again not sure doubt it though I guess in the end he was catch and how plot ends so was this scary Will say yes and no both is all U have left to say about this one and let see what I will review for old scary or not movies.

The Undertaker and His Pals (1966) Movie Review

My Review

First intro look like a cartoon intro with groovy music as well for a horror movie that there give me a sign it was 1:46 long one that for sure this was 1966 so sometimes they have long opening.

After see this all I got is very weird horror movie it doesn’t have a lot of scare jumps but does have crazy gore and killings some for restaurant trying to stay in Business by Serving up humans on there menu to people the music is can of silly like it goes weird when killing starts.

This movie or show is what it feels like is a hour and 3 mins long and what I see is now the most Cheesy movie in horror history is want I see for a 1960’s film so do get much in this short time not too much from what I see this horror with comedy the only thing I was laughing about was weird soundtrack of movie was a little bit it added to how not good this film was no hero’s at all to save the day like most movies this one was force the ending was can of lame guy try to grab her but missed and fall to his death off the building or so I felt but he survive it most not be a huge fall after that have a silly ended where all ones killed come back and Smile they acted like I hope you like the movie it was odd not sure but I think this movie was drive in movie I bet I will say everybody coming back was a nice touch but again this was indeed a chessy 1 and 3 min movie is all I got left to say.

My review

I just love some of old Mr Hyde and Dr Jekyll movies because they tell good stories on how it happens this one I have not see yet so here we go my Review of The Strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde from 1968.

I wonder if this is a TV movie can of seems like it is what I was thinking because when he started to change they cut it off to the next day where he wakes not remember things then he goes to bar asking people if they see me before and a few remember him then after that they show him drinking the potion and this time they show what happen after he drink it he look can of creepy with makeup on Jack Palance does but seem like everybody getting along with him some don’t though later on his dark side comes out as he goes after guys at bar who don’t like him but that laugh sort of remind me this might be comedy horror movie type as well then for some reason he takes the potion and turns back into himself for now.

The movie seems a little slow some but it is indeed a TV movie and on tv they don’t show much gore this movie is lot different then other versions I see I find this one interesting as well as it seem pretty good.

Later on he changes back but he still half Mr. Hyde as cops are downstairs sort of remind me the half hulk on one of Incredible Hulk episodes so when Dr. Jekyll finds out what his Altar ego does he starts having thoughts on not to turn back in too his Alter ego or not but when he gets angry he can not help to turn back to him and go killing now everyone see him doing it they will now be after him so does Dr. Jekyll does tell good lies to cover it up but I wonder how long before police figure out or someone will his evil secret .

After he Destory the lab just when I thought it was end of Dr. Hyde he drink too potion and now he can’t stop change to him now I thought they would go that way so now what is he stick as Dr. Hyde he does change back to Dr. Jekyll but again he keeps change back to this killer the last fight was ok could of been a little bit better but that ok some reason I predicted the ending sometimes I am good at that and it happens it ended ok but will say this was not bad horror movie for TV movie.

Hats if to Jack Palance he was one of best in my very playing both characters his makeup was pretty good very great acting from him as well at first I figure they keep it low on horror for a TV movie but they did some scare at first Mr. Hyde seem like he was nice guy as movie goes on you find out he was indeed not odd plot there but it worked for me so would I watch this again maybe but for now glad I got to see it at first didn’t think it would not be good but as I watch it enjoy this horror take on classic Mr. Hyde and Mr. Jekyll indeed and think this movie is indeed a must see for horror fans.

I give The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1968) a rating of 7/10 for good.

Frankenstein’s Daughter : (1958) Movie Review

My review

This is another Frankenstein’s movie thought I would watch this time it is daughter of Frankenstein’s that was release 1958. This one is about the grandson of Dr. Frankenstein’s who trying to recreate Frankenstein’s but this time with a woman he then later gives it a woman though a drink and well after that well she started to change and boy she did look ugly and boy she scared everybody in the town then I was saying I bet this will be where she change back to human and I was right well guess they need something so she won’t have to wear that ugly makeup or mask for the whole movie It was ugly looking as well for a old movie but I guess Dr. Frankenstein’s didn’t think that went well so he goes so he try again and it works but why does she look like a man Frankenstein’s very odd they call her a she when it look like a lot of a man can of silly 😜 if you ask.

I can Confirm that indeed was a man playing daughter Frankenstein’s my guess they could not find a Actress in time to play female Frankenstein’s so have a man dress up to look like it a woman I will say it was creepy looking Frankenstein’s so now there 2 ugly looking monsters or is there only see the first one for a short time he try to change her again but why do that when he changed her early writer mistake or writers got lost some.

Last 15 mins have to not much but it was not good ending for Frankenstein’s grandson or lame looking Frankenstein’s daughter or let’s son and that woman who changed into monster was only 1 time would of been cool to end with them hugging and she changes back into ugly thing as movie rolls to credits they did not do that though.

That movie was little bit it was promote as Frankenstein’s daughter but Frankenstein’s look like like a man what they should of done is keep that first ugly monster where woman turn into but it was short and well she was back to normal guess writer didn’t want to go there which is a shame I will say Frankenstein’s daughter or son did look creepy good makeup the monster was played Harry Wilson who also played Winke on Wizard of Oz think he was Guard who give Dorothy the broom stick as well so that is something so would I watch this one probably not because it was little poor on writing a little acting was good but not best either but I will if your fans of Frankenstein’s movies this indeed worth checking out to see if you like it or well not.

The Devil’s Rain (1975) Movie Review

My Review

After watching this movie have to say this is very disturbing movie with some actors who I know in this one so why is this Disturbing movie of 70’s let’s start.

This took place in 1970’s and is called Devil’s rain the movie starts off with creepy intro and you see John Travolta you wonder what he doing in this from what I heard this was his first movie and boy did he put the makeup and look creepy so will talk about that in a bit in intro is creepy with good scary painting will say that good artwork to open it also you hear voices of people crying where it coming from not sure but I see many horror movies and to open with credits like this show you what ahead from what I been told many trap souls trap in devil rain.

Then we open up the movie where mark is looking for his father and well he shows up with no eyes or dark eyes then he said give him the book then he melting in rain and just turn into goo well least they don’t have to mop him up later now I know why they call it devil’s rain.

After mark mom gets Kidnapped she probably next to become one of them is my guess mark aka Willam shatner goes after Corbis who wants the book so we meet him later and you wonder why he in too the book well it has of power of Satan once they get in church this when more starts to get disturbing he then see his mom and yep she one of them mark try’s to run but he was outnumber after that the guy from green aces show up guess he a doctor or fake doctor we find out 28 mins tom skerritt who plays Tom goes looking for his brother.

Then we go back where there getting ready for mark to become one my guess this will lead them to the book Tom show up later looking for them and guess who shows up John Travolta attacks him I know that face with creepy mask on him then his girlfriend look into his eyes and see the truth on where corbis will be back he said took 3-5 mins but after that girl says better go and you hear them creepy voices again this why movie is disturbing too but what to comes it gets far more disturbing as well.

Then later we see corbis turn into a goat look like Ernest sure look creepy in that mask also a icon mask was born the one Willam shatner wear was later use for Halloween movies that Michael wear well least something came out of this so who it better even though Willam did look creepy in have to say Micheal wear it better.

Well last 15 mins we see mark break the devil’s rain which trapped so he does the right thing and free the souls or something then it starts too and everybody starts to meltdown even John starts to melt his first movie and he is melting it was 5 mins-7 mins meltdown must of been huge ending they were going with  after that just before it ended that was one heck of odd twist there at it it was said by a poster best movie ending ever to me it was ok but not best ending.

Well did I like this film it was disturbing one that for sure for story and it was creepy with masks with no eyes see John Travolta and Willam wear creepy masks was something also see them melt at end was disturbing do I think they drag the melting Scene too long at the end yeah it can remind of me gremlins movie with that it was scary some but them creepy voices was something as well acting was chessy so is this a horror movie I would watch again probably not unless I want to go back and watch John and Willam melt again just kidding but I will say this if you watch be careful it is very creepy movie of the 70’s that is for sure I am sure the Cast and crew mop it up after they were done with this movie.

Dr. Terror’s House of Horrors (1965) Movie Review

My Review

Another week and movie Review for Horror movies so let see if I like or not this one from 1965.

This one is about five passengers on a tree who receives readings from a Fortune teller who seems creepy a little that there makes me think he something else then just a fortune teller and with cards put a deadly cure on all five of them or maybe he can see what there futures hold.

This is what interesting about plot your not knowing first guy story was going to house with a dark secret about the house and then in basement a waits a werewolf later then we find out who lady indeed is very creepy after that back to the train that what guy Predicted later on will happen but will it have to wait and see.

Now on to 2nd guy somehow plants are attack they even kill a dog which is odd sort of like attack of plants who later on trap them in house in a Odd way killer but as it was getting good back to the train so is stories of faction not sure.

3nd guy story will say gets creepy some I will say each predict does get more scary think this one has something to do with Voodoo curse or magic he may of curse for stealing words from a Ancient god or something he does take the warns and later it comes back to backfired or does it well that one was not too scary creepy as well back to the train they go.

I have a feeling all this predict will make Sense at the end hope so or else it will be a letdown is what I thinking anyway it is 4 guy turn so what his future he has something to do with paintings 🖼 my guess it is cure one guy lost his hand ouch in a car wreak and later hand attacks Peter sort of hand from Addams family

remind me of lol look out hand coming for you he does burn it but it keep coming back so he throw in river inside a box but again just as it getting good cut back to train.

Down to last one 5th and final one turn where I think he just brought a house for him and his wife or they just got married when he cuts himself her look like a vampire look see it before many times would be more scary if she turns into a bat I think so because when bat flys though window she by the window saying she cut her hand so that there give me a hint she is a vampire.but in the end of that story there was a twist that was a little creepy back to the train .

So was all this a game well guy hand 🤚 out cards just Disappeared and they land my guess in hell or somewhere they were dead what a odd ending for this movie.

Have to say not bad stories lead up to that odd ending I know it would end in a twist or a Strange ending which I have no clue how it will go at all my guess this was train ride to there deaths will say story was confusing some but will say good acting from Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing as Dr. Terror in this one but I do wish for a better ending and what was next guess it ended up where they won’t have to go though stories and this was only way from it not happen not but odd writing will say this film is indeed worth checking out it was scary some but not a lot Is all I have left to say.

I give Dr. Terror’s House of horror (1965) a rating of 6.5/10 for good.

Brewster’s Millions (1945) Movie Review 500th review

My review

I have come a long long way to get here this now my 500th movie review and figure I do this movie because it sound fun and I want that not silly Horror movie for my 500th movie so here is my Review of 1945 Brewster’s Millions for again 500th movie review

The story is U.S army Soilder coming home and finding he getting huge money from uncle but there a catch he must spend one million without telling anybody include his wife to be every 2 months so this interesting so he Delay his wedding everything is going well he either buying or paying off stuff off every 2 months as movie goes bye you can see they build up to him possible losing you can tell he starts worry his girlfriend starts to leave him and everything is going down hill quick sure they have to do something to make him overcome the big downhill to lift back up that when movie Interesting but he found a way to fix everything and everything ends ok not a bad ending too there funny way to end it,

This one wasn’t too bad a look on what happens when you become rich as well the stuff he brought was something too was tough to keep all that money without worry about one move could turn out to be a good or bad he did indeed learn that at the end the ending could of show there wedding and end there but they were off to wedding and that where it ended I go wow could not even show the wedding where everybody could of been there my guess they didn’t have enough to film 🎞 it but that ok at least this was a great movie did like it as Will would I watch it again probably sometimes but will say if you like old Classics this one a worth to watch.

That it I have now made it too 500th movies review been doing this since 2013 start off slow then but boy I have come a long long way after that I plan on doing movies review in fact next week we going to start to take a look at old horror classics I am to review them least hope I find good ones and not bad ones see you next week for that and now let the road to 1000 movies start as well.

The Man in the Iron mask (1939) Movie Review

My Review

A few years ago or longer I did a movie with same title as this one so run into this one on Tubi where I watched most of movies this one was release in 1939 so figure I check it out and see if it is good then 1998 one.

This one is same story but a lot more into story this time we see what happens when 2 twins sons are born to the king the king best friend or so thought it would be a danger to have 2 kings when they grow up for some reason they only go with 1 king and hide the other one is later on Prison by his brother so it is one evil twin and the other one is good so that what makes plot very interesting how this will go.

Years later the mean king is rule his land for evil rather then good tax poor people being a mean one that for it is something they raise him to be like that but later on they meet and king want him to be him for the day more like filling in for him So the good king gets to see what his brother has done and try iron out problems but try to not to let the evil king know what going on if so you know the evil king will do something.

Pretty much he using his brother to fill in for first half but later on he puts good brother in mask of iron because he wants more power to himself can of odd he used him just to later on

Prisoner him it was a sad moment and I was hope later on it will backfired on him.

Later on the hero’s do get the good king out of the mask and then he tells his brother how he feels now so he put him in iron mask now evil king gets to feel what it like to be put in a iron mask for a while he trying to tell everybody he the king but no one believes him but later on they do and he gets now they save best for last evil twin vs good brother well they did that little but it ended in a crash for evil brother in a wagon and a pretty good ending as well that where I would go for ended.

Overrate a lot better then 1998 version that was good movie but this one had more to story along with great ending would of like to see brother vs brother at the end but they didn’t go that way and just ended evil brother in a crash but that didn’t bug me this guy was evil all he cared about was power this good king will help out good this movie also has good acting as well if you like good acting this was indeed for you and this one is indeed worth checking out if you see the 1998 version as well.

Little Annie Rooney (1925) Movie Review

My Review

Time for another Mary Pickford old movie review this time called little Annie Rooney from. 1925.

Film starts off in a funny way with her fighting with the kids in a fun food fight look like it was funny but all that food to waste ouch but this interesting her last film I see she was calm and stuff this one she throwing food I think it is and having a good time great start hope all her movies are this she is funny and great Actress as well as for films this did go one for another 15 mins after that she and kid started fighting unit a guy broke them 2 up from fighting I thought this was her brother but no just a guy passing though and thought it was silly see kid fighting a girl nice of him to care but it was not her brother was a nice 15 mins start funny.

Later on we meet her brother and dad there then later on police showing up and everybody who was in that fight got in trouble some interesting so I guess to make it up they must pay a price so to make money can of look like they are team up to do a play for town not a bad idea did not well but that was good comedy there.

Later on she got a nice cake going for her pa Birthday later on we see something sad happen to him as he gets shot very tough to watch policeman give her the news she was ready too it was indeed tough to watch now did get a nice brother and sister moment at the end of the Scene sure is something this movie started off fun but after father died turn into a another story very fast good writing there.

Now we have the brother trying to find the killer of his pa killer he later on blame on Joe for killing his pa so last 15-20 was trying to figure out killer is they do it was not Joe but his brother shot him because he did not know so interesting stuff going on at the end for the story she thinks she going to die by giving blood 🩸 to Joe guess this is her first time so she ask questions can of funny and little bit odd in my view anyway everything went well as movie ends with a good ending as well.

Have to say this another good Mary Pickford movie that I like it was good comedy movie at the start With the food fight there that went on for good 15 mins but it was indeed funny there but later on did change after papa was killed was very sad so story change very fast after that was interesting as well so not too bad there the ended was indeed great again Acting was good I wonder how old Mary was in this young I think if not she play role for good so indeed worth checking out this great film with the great Mary Pickford so was happy to review another one of her film hats off to her and cast for this good film.

My Review

Think this my first movie on the tale of Jack the Giant or maybe not did see a few other versions of the movie this one could be one of first of many tales most of time the first versions are the best so let’s see if I think that or no.

Well have too say good intro of movie and it’s the princess Birthday and she was giving a house with a Creature small who can dance cool but later on that will come to backfired on them as story gets interesting as bad guy used to his power to control the monster by a powerful Sorcerer evil one the Creature look good for clay motion good effects as well for a old movie well lucky Jack was around to help her as he took out the Creature for now because they would not take him out quick maybe they want to force on Pendragon more he is indeed powerful one and some how wants princess bad see that one before later on his somehow using effects monsters effects look like they look good and creepy.

Later on after getting her we see his plan unfold change her princess is now a queen that look a lot different under a spell she look like a evil queen good Costume but she was a lot pretty the other way and not this look but will say interesting for story because now you wonder how they build Jack up though the rest of movie and wonder how they change the princess back and face this powerful evil guy also I wonder how she reaction when they meet again to see if she remembers him. Once he does.

Have to say this is indeed good writing and storytelling as well the movie was great for acting as well just a fun Adventure movie and magic as well like the way it use for this one Costumes look great as well and that last 15 mins was fun too the guy in bottle was funny as lots of close calls though but in the end everything had a happy ending would of I love to see king reaction at the end yes but no need too it ended very good I would probably indeed watch this one again very great movie for 1961.

My Review

This week review will be review of 17 min film yes short film in history What’s to do Think this Shirley temple film debut too not sure will have to see anyway here what I think of this short 1933 film.

Starts off with class for high school President this indeed very old film but look ok for film picture here in 2022 this film is Rogers just win the President but dad got a job and wants to move to Seattle so his victory might be cut short unless he can somehow try to get his father to stay.

For a 17:49 mins  this was not bad funny as well the way he try to get out from leaving was funny don’t blame him he has everything here so he fake being sick in a funny way as well and it worked out and that how it ended.

Very short but funny comedy movie I must say Shirley temple look cute and funny in this think she was cute and funny this lead her to be a star in many movies was this first film she was in not sure but if it was a very cool film debut she was indeed cute and funny in this one is indeed worth checking out just like the film this will be short film review do I wish it was little bit longer yes but this was 1933 and most was short films but I was happy to review another Shirley temple film.

Rio Lobo (1970) Movie Review

My Review

This is my first John Wayne movie that I see and review so let’s see if I like this Western movie or not.

Not going to lie I am not much of a fan of western movies too much but I have heard John Wayne movies are good so figure since I am reviews old movies I will give him a chance and I must say they were right first I love the intro of music with Guitar playing at start with credits rolling good way to open it up movie as well. First of all robbers staff was can of silly and by the time they got there were quick gone with gold but later on got a little bit later not much then later on they head to Rio Lobo with a woman who needs help and Sheriff who seems grumpy in my view some say Jennifer acting is not good I thought she did good and see nothing wrong she was pretty as well so no problem there.

Now will say build up to end was little slow and boring a little bit not bad but ending battle payed off with a good gun fight and that Sheriff Got what he deserved because he was rude after the fight was over John Wayne walk away with lady who shot the bad guy at end as it say the end not a bad John Wayne movie wish it could of end the way it started would of been way to end it will say it was fun watching my very first John Wayne movie reviewing it as well I would probably watch it again sometime down the line as well.

My Review

Bing Crosby I know a lot for singing but not acting so this is my first movie I see him in this was indeed first for so do I like it or not well let’s see sure we.

Pass 1 min credits intro but that ok this was released in 1949 so happens a lot after that movie starts with the guy visiting the castle and acting like his been there many years everybody acting like ok then he goes to my guess owner who sick in bed so he seat down on the chair and story starts should be something we got a few mins of singing then a storm hits he fall off his horse and gets knock out and lands in year 528 now plot is getting more interesting on where it will this sort of has a lot of kid who fall down the hole and landed there too but this one came out long long time before that movie did that for sure back to movie he does meet a beautiful princess I would too if I hit my head just kidding I think she like him she was charm the moment she see him and wink as well I think there be romance moments between 2 later on which is ok as long as they keep story written good.

So now he in year 528 wonder what they do with not good news my guess they think he a witch from another world then later he gets out of and king set him free for and now call him the boss sort of like that name it like a king type name anyway half way though I am like this movie Costumes look very good also this has a nice musical tune as well good songs again bing Cosby proves why he is good at acting and singing in this one but can he fight later on he is challenged by Princess Fiancé he using some tricks I guess this upset the princess some oh well she get over it later on right see this before many times.

Have to say this story is written very good watching it is good storytelling that for sure for a old movie that for sure watching it got me Excited to see how it ends been a while since old movies done that watching them so how does last 10 mins go well yes he tells the rest of story and it goes back to where story started with a happy ending as well great way to end this story that way I would ended it.

No doubt love this movie Bing Cosby was great in this for singing and acting as well acting was good just a great story as well great musical and family movie as well hope today kids got to see because they will like it as well as I did check out this old classic if you have not because I am sure you like it as much as I did.

Miss Annie Rooney (1942) Movie Review

My Review

Now a teenager Shirley temple is getting ready for her teen drama acting which is ok she Shirley Temple she be ok on acting this is why I pick this movie because I am used to watching her movies when she little a lot but I do wonder how she will do in what her first movie where she fall In love I think so this why I find this movie interesting.

Have to say this is a very good movie with Shirley it force on her falling for a rich guy but only problem is she is poor some but when you meet the guy and they do he look like a guy with glasses so they crash into him and you can tell Joey does not like him at all first but he is a kind guy giving them to ride to party Joey shows up late and seems a little Jealous is there going to be a battle of romance for her in this probably but not sure maybe they just force on her falling in love with rich guy after see that made me think they will but so far 20 mins after that doesn’t look like they go that way and just force on story on her falling in love with rich guy that ok.

So the rich kid tells his parents later on and wants to invite her to his birthday but his parents say no because they didn’t think she would fit in with his friends so without them looking or when they are not in room he send invite to her though mail too me I have a feeling this could go in a good way or later on bad way at first she does have a few problems finding the dress and paying for it but a family member comes to the Rescue.

So later on she goes to party but things was not looking good at first but then later her dance moves turn the party into them like her some but then her father shows up and makes a fool of himself that where it went downhill for her felt sorry for her everything was going well unit that happen but hope in the end it does pay off.

Look like no they were going to get kick out of there apartment for not paying the rent then things went well after all and it ended in a good way.

Not a bad movie not a lot of romance some but not a lot as movie hype but the end prove it was some it was about her fitting in well with rich guy Marty and her father having problems but it was good story for that for and this indeed is another great Shirley temple movie that I like this is a cute movie as well like how it went good acting as well this year I have done 3 movies review that she star in they been good so far and I hope I get to do a few more movie reviews with her in in the future and this movie was again great.
